It had been a long time since he had been home. Since he had been inside the den he had deemed perfect for a healer. He had been away from home for far too long trying to find a woman that may very well never even feel comfortable around him again. No matter how many times he tried to prove just how much he loved and respected her.

As he sat at the base of the tree he once lived under, Maximous would decide it was beyond time to move on. A large piece of his heart would always belong to Callisto, but it was clear to him that he would probably always be walking on egg shells around her. He couldnt wait for her to change her mind, so he wasnt going to. He wanted children and if he didnt find someone he could share the rest of his heart with soon then chances of children would become slim to none.
