Stori was excited to be able to show off his skill... whatever skill he had. He sent a prayer for the gods to be in his favor. He was young, but he was big. He wanted to prove to Katja he could be a warrior. She had put him against an adult so she must already think he has potential. Of course he had potential, he was a child of one of the great gods! Turning to Neith, Stori's tail wagged slightly. Though she was the mother of that cursed Eislef, Neith herself was okay. Stori wondered if she knew about the gods. Maybe he could teach her about them since Katja was busy teaching well... Stori and the rest of the young pack.

Stori took a slow breath, readying himself for the fight. He shot a glance towards Katja and his dad to see if they were watching. He also looked at Eislef. Even if he lost today, at least he was allowed to fight, unlike her. Turning his attention back to his opponent, Stori nodded. He was ready.

She couldn't deny she was rather surprised at getting called upon to spar with Laufey's young son. She could plainly see the rivalry between her daughter and the other Finnvi offspring. If she didn't know better she could have swore that Eisleif was giving her the death glare. She'd smile humbly as she stood to take her place before the tall, but young wolf. She hadn't practiced in a long while, and though she was very much trying to get back into shape she still felt a little baby weight just clinging on. Offering Eis an encouraging wink her gaze would find its way back to Stori's tall form. He was a little gangly, but she still had no doubt that his teeth were sharp and his determination strong. Quite the interesting battle indeed. Neith would find herself shifting easily into a fighter's stance, legs apart, neck protected, hackles raised. She was ready, but was going to make the noob make the first move.
