OOC: Loki is welcome to join later.

Dazed, the brute lay on his side at the bottom of a ravine. He vaguely remembered falling; the sliding of the rocks underfoot, the crack as the very foundation that he'd placed his trust in gave way. There was a rush, the feeling of his stomach lifted up into his throat, the ground rushing up on him...and then darkness. He wasn't sure exactly how much time had passed, but the sky above him was much changed from the last time he'd laid eyes on it. Thor shook, chilled to the bone. Or was he? The ground was warm, he could feel the waves of heat rolling off it, see the shimmer over top. The warmth soaked into him but did little to stop the shaking that overtook his body. The brute wasn't entirely sure he could stand.

Nauseated, Thor pinched his eyes shut and focused on breathing, trying to will away the violent rolling of his stomach, the feeling that the ground beneath him was tilting. He groaned and retched, almost losing the contents of his stomach before his jaws slammed shut. Much was out of his control, but if there was one thing he was loath to do, it was vomit all over himself. Forget the blood dripping from his nose and the dust that coated him; he refused the indignity of such a show of weakness.

After many long minutes of near-sickness, the brute's stomach settled and he was able to open his eyes. From there he attempted to rise, but the world lurked so sharply that he was tossed back to the ground in an unbearable fit of nausea. Once more Thor's eyes closed as he resigned himself to waiting. Pride kept him from calling out and he recognized that yes, it was the same pride that may very well kill him if he didn't recover soon.

She wasn't sure what had happened to her family or Sephiroth for that matter. Everyone seemed to just disappear on her. Making her all the more distressed and nervous. She had no choice but to meander around with no set path. But oddly enough during this time her hunting skills had improved, her eyes more keen to the plant life around her. She had even met a wolf who gave her a few lessons on healing, a wolf from the mangroves. And oh had she loved those few rare moments with the white female. But they never stayed in touch and Angel wouldn't dare enter the pack lands just to find her. She was no where near joining a pack yet, she wasn't ready for that drama again. last time she was in a pack was in Valhalla and it had been plagued with sickness and fights till it was disbanded. She shook out her white fur, ice blue eyes scanning for more plants she knew oh.

Carefully she navigated down into a ravine, enjoying it pockets of shade here and there. Around the bend she noticed earth freshly disturbed with a large male laying among it. She only froze for a moment, about to turn tail and flee. Till she looked closer and saw he was covered in dirt. He must have fallen from the top of the ravine. Ears twitched before she padded over cautiously, head lowers, tail down and ears flicking uncertainly.Sir...are you alright? I can help you if you need assistance. She said softly. Even if he said no her eyes could not help the healer assessment of his body. He was dirty but nothing seemed to be broken nor did she see a lot of blood besides from his nose. If he was lucky he would just have hit his head on the way down.

He lay still for an eternity, feeling the nausea that came and went in waves. In reality, he couldn't have been there more than a few minutes before a voice reached his ears. The pain in his head was intense and pounded away with the beat of his heart, but not so unbearable as to impair his thinking. He was, well, as much as he could be, aware and reasonably capable of speech.

The brute was unwilling to open his eyes again so he could only guess at the appearance of the one who addressed him. She was female, obviously, but the rest of her was a mystery to him. For the time being, Thor was alright with it. "Are you a healer," he queried, moving his head so that his face was pointed in her direction. At least he thought it was. Hell, for all he knew, she was a 200lb he standing in the opposite direction. "The ground gave out under me as I was walking along the ravine." He refused to plead for aid. If she wished to give it to him, she would not be met with resistance.

A ringing settled in his ears as the nausea ebbed from him. The brute had yet to look himself over, but nothing felt broken or injured besides his head. It would make sense for him to have fallen head first and it wasn't entirely unreasonable to assume that he'd taken most of the damage to his head and forelimbs. Mostly he just ached. There was a stinging to his front paws that suggested they were scuffed and another patch along his chin that begged for attention.

She was careful not to get too close, you never knew how a wounded wolf might act. It was best to stay out of reach from teeth an claws just incase. She kept her body in a neutral yet submissive posture. Tail hung down the tip curled in towards her belly, ears laid back but not plaster to her head, head was lowered and ice blue eyes hopeful and keen. He would answer her with a question, eyes remaining closed. At once she was concerned for him. She would nod to his explanation even though he couldn't see.Yes I am. I'm not advance in the knowledge but I know enough to help someone who seems to have a concussion. She replied softly. Head lifted to look around them with a slight frown. She didn't want to leave him here unprotected to look for herbs but she didn't have much choice.Don't move too much. I'm going to go get some herbs for you. I need you not to fall back asleep, its very important you don't. Focus on your body, everywhere it hurts. I want a full report on anything and everything that hurts, how bad and the precise location by the time I get back. She instructed him. Hopefully that would keep his mind busy and awake till she got back.

She took to two steps before pausing to look back at him.My name is Madieke Black..remember what I told you to do. I'll be back shortly. She added before flitting off on her slender legs. Lucky for him she was fast, but still looking for the right herbs would take some time. Plus she didn't want to fall into the ravine like him and be hurt too. It would do neither one of them any good. Her nimble paws zigged and zagged over the terrain, eyes searching. It took her some time and going farther away till she found anything that would work. Quickly she gathered up some Lamb's ear, Lavender, Meadowsweet, and Valerian root. With the good size bundle she rushed back. As she approached she slowed down, ears perked. Gently she would place the herbs down near him, sitting herself down infront of him.I'm back, so what you got for me? She asked warmly but her voice remained low and soft, knowing his head had to be killing him.

Concussion. Now there was as injury he was familiar with. The brute had taken more than his fair share of hits upside the head. If his brothers were to be believed, the repeated blows were the cause of quite a few of his problems. Thor liked to believe that the things that made him different from them weren't the result of brain injuries on his end, but on theirs. Surely they'd had taken a number of strikes of their own. Hati in particular seemed like a poster boy for brain damage.

The healer told him not to move and the brute nearly disobeyed with a nod, catching himself in time to still the motion. "Okay." He hadn't been tired before, but now that she'd mentioned it Thor found that his eyelids were heavy. Once again the brute almost shook his head, this time to wake himself, before it occurred to him that he'd just been told to be still. His ears went back in annoyance. Idiot. How hard was it to keep still?

She told him her name and then was gone, leaving Thor alone to fight the fatigue that settled over him like a warm blanket. He did what she asked, concentrating on all the places that didn't feel quite right.

The soft sound of dirt being displaced underfoot alerted the brute to her return and Thor's eyes opened. Too bright light forced his eyes closed, but not before he caught a glimpse of Madieke. He took a deep breath, ready with a short list of complaints. "All of my front toes hurt, but I think it's mostly skin damage. My legs hurt, its just an ache, and I can feel it all the way up into my shoulders. My nose hurts, my chin hurts, really, everything aches, but the thing that's bothering me most is my head." Now that he'd had time to be still, the brute wasn't feeling as nauseous as he had been. His head ached; pounded with every pulse. His main complaint was there.

OOC: If you'd like, you can pp and say that she fixed him up and whatnot; even time skip to the point where he's standing up and moving about, if it suits you.
