Hymn was certain this was the furthest he had ever traveled in these lands. When he and Psalm had gone off on an adventure sure they had gone further but Hymn had never really been outside the eastern region of this continent. A familiar sense of excitement trilled through him as he found himself eager to explore. First he wound his way through the low hanging branches, allow them to brush through his fur, only occasionally getting caught. It had very much been like a game for him as he wove his way in and out of the drooping foliage.
Though he had also quickly tired himself out and now he was resting on the bank of a stream, it reminded him very much of home, the way the roots reached into the water itself. With a contented sigh he lowered himself onto his stomach, massive ebony paws dangling over the edge of the bank. The water felt cool on his skin, a godsend in the heat of summer.
