Gah! Summer…. Birna lay across the cool metal of the front of the tractor with a huff, trying to cool her body before morning passed and the sun turned the metal into something that would sear the flesh right off her. There was much to think on, always so much to think about, the pups, her new apprentice, the upcoming raid and most of all her goal. She was getting closer, soon she'd be strong enough to prove her worth to Valentine and take the rank of Praetor. Of course, then the trick would be keeping it but for now that was her goal. She was so close… and she couldn't help but wonder what might be changing in her future. When the leaves began to turn in the next season she would be four years old. Honestly, she was surprised she'd managed to live this long. Yet she still felt aimless, like she was missing something in her life, something substantial. Was it her brother? Birna had to admit she'd felt a particular emptiness when they'd split ways, an emptiness she was never able to fill.

Kharn was finally feeling like himself again. He'd been out of commission for so long that he'd almost forgotten what the outside world looked like. He knew of death first hand, their sister Gnar had died, so he was positive that was what was going to happen to him too. He'd die of the same horrible sickness that had taken Gnar and that he'd just be gone exactly like her. It'd been a terrifying experience for the young male. The pneumonia had been severe and he'd never felt as bad as he had before in his life. Not that he'd lived that long anyways, but it was traumatizing all the same.

And then suddenly he began to feel better.

Even when he'd begin to recuperate his Mom still kept him confined to the den. She was worried that going out would get him sick again and that something as simple as bacteria would attack his weakened immune system. So much to his own dismay, he remained in the den until he was completely better. Now he was just ready to get out and about and figure out what the hell he'd missed.

He wasn't sure what to expect, he'd known the weather was getting warmer, but he hadn't expected summer to be this ... well hot. It was just awful for the boy. He retained the same coat as the majority of the Ancora line. Fluffy and completely built for the Winter. He'd only spent about ten minutes outside and he was already baking. "This isn't fun at all" he pouted to himself.

Still he'd been cooped up so long he was reluctant to go back to the den. If he'd had his way he'd never go back again. He doubted Avalon would like that though so he'd enjoy it while he could. So he started his little adventure by making his way towards the old weird thingy made of what looked like dead trees. The first thing he noticed however was the strange machine thing (the tractor) that was by the dead tree structure. His focus didn't remain on it for long as he noticed another wolf laying on top of it.

"What are you doing up there?" He asked curiously as he approached.
