Starlight, Star Bright

This I swear by the stars
Stars in your multitudes, scarce to be counted, filling the darkness with order and light. You are the sentinels, silent and sure, keeping watch in the night. You know your place in the sky, you hold your course and your aim. And each in your season, returns and returns, and is always the same. And if you fall as Lucifer fell, you fall in flame
As soon as the first started glowed in the night sky, Caeli emerged from her den. Looking up at her cliff, she was about to go and sit in her normal spot but something stopped her. Her limbs ached, a stiffness in her bones. The woman groaned, stretching out like a cat to pull at her muscles. That alone wasn't enough, and she blamed the star gazing night after night. She needed to be more mobile, but since coming home she had been enraptured with her view from the cliff all over again. So with a soft huff, the purple and black female made her way for the prairies. It wouldn't hurt to do a quick border patrol anyways.
Her long limbed body quickly ate up the ground, and within no time she was working her way across the territory at an easy lope. Her tail swung behind her like a banner, her jaws parting as her tongue hung from her maw. She was half way across the grasses when she paused, a flash of white overhead catching her attention. Skidding to a stop, Caeli tossed her head up so quickly that it almost hurt, orange eyes growing wide as she caught the last remnants of a shooting star. In utter awe of the sea of white lights above her, her rump fell to the earth. No matter how many times she looked up at the stars, she was still so in awe of them. A wistful sigh left her lips, her entire body relaxing as she looked for her favorite constellations.
"Speech!"
