She had been doing much better lately about not breaking any rules and going beyond the pack border. Of course, that was easy considering the beach was open again. The instant she had been given the go ahead to venture back that way, Aurora had tried to match places with memories she had of her childhood home, namely the den in which she had spent the majority of her short life. The large, cavernous den did not match exactly to the memories she had - though how could it when she had only been a tiny babe at the time they were made? - but she had been quick to begin making new memories, including exploring as much of the beach as she could. It was a large beach, and the caves offered much in the ways of entertainment, but the young blue wolf was beginning to wonder how the prairie was fairing.
Out of curiosity she headed in that direction again, striding purposefully and boldly across the grassy plain. Her head and tail were raised, and a good-natured smile spread gently across her lips. Bright, golden eyes stared ahead and to either side, surveying everything within sight as she walked, and overall it looked quite peaceful. She was beginning to notice the stronger scent of game littered throughout the location, evidence that the family's retreat back to the beach had opened up their hunting grounds for their prey to return, and she felt her attention tugged in the direction of an impromptu hunt. Well...maybe I could give it a try.
With all the skill of a still-learning youth, Aurora sunk into a crouch and began to creep her way across the prairie, doing her best to move stealthily. Unable to hear her own movements, however, she rustled the grass as she went, moving too quickly to hide her passing and leaving a clear trail as she went. She saw nothing ahead of her and certainly could hear nothing telling, but luckily enough the path she made brought her closer to something amid the grasses, and as the creature streaked across her path, too fast for her to really make out what it was, Rory immediately gave chase. She dashed, racing after whatever ran ahead of her with a grin spread across her soft features, and without realizing, too focused on her hunt, she passed the border. It took her a few strides to realize she had lost her target, and breathing out a heavy sigh as she stopped, the blue wolf stood a moment just outside of Donostrea lands, trying to catch her breath and wondering where her prey had gone.

He'd gone this far. There was no going back. Enigma had told him to stay in their den over in tall grass Plains...but the boy was growing restless, and his loneliness was overwhelming him whenever Enigma wasn't there. He hated that he couldn't do anything, hated that he was so useless. He felt like he was a burden to his big brother, and while Enigma never said it was true, or so he felt. He walked slowly, aimlessly, in search of his sister mostly. She was staying in that pack now right?
It felt like forever, but he could smell those borders getting closer. He slunk low to the ground, feeling his way around since he'd never really gone off on his own without a guide. But Ganta had disappeared, the only one besides Silva and Enigma that usually helped him. He was afraid, yes.. And when he heard the sound of something up ahead, he froze. His ears flattened to his head, sightless eyes staring ahead as he heard the shifting grass somewhere ahead of him. Was it his sister? He was still some way from the border he figured..."S-silva? Is that you?" |
