In the first few weeks of Mortar's arrival to their pack lands, he had gotten from the boy his season of birth. Now, as the leaves began to fall in a cascade of Autumn colors he had to accept that the young child he had adopted had become a yearling. Ropping Aurora and Ray into his planning was the easy part. Coming up with a definitive idea, was not. Anais would be returning in a moment from her hunt for Mortar's birthday dinner, well Glacier sat before Ray and Aurora and listened to his oldest suggestions. Namely, she thought leaving the territory would be a grand adventure, and her little slip on a great cavern just outside the territory had him shaking his head in wonder. Did he even want to know how she knew about Time's Cavern, and didn't want to ground her on the eve of Mortar's birthday. Perhaps in a day or two they would be having that chat...
“Alright, so if I get Mortar and have a chat with him, you two and your mother can be in the cavern with the food, and you can jump out and surprise him. Anyone want to add anything else to our planning?” he pot the current strands of thoughts into one idea and eyed Ray questioning, after all, she knew Tar best. He also grinned at his Aurora, and gently nudged her shoulder, wondering how much about the situation she was grasping.
