the miroslav clan; first of their names

the miroslavs are a clan of wolves with an interesting history. at some point, the miroslavs encountered a divide between the females and the males, as either gender wants to rule over the other. all who sided with the males kept the name 'miroslav' while all those who sided with the females are given the name 'yashvati'. while the miroslavs were not strictly a patriarchial clan, they are known for their arranged marriages when it comes to their daughters. the miroslavs are characterized by their saddle marking and dual-colored pelts (sometimes called chimera pelt). albinism and melanism are looked down on, due to the absence of duality and any markings whatsoever. the female line differs slightly from the male lines, as the yashvati are more often single colored pelts with unique markings. unlike the miroslavs, yashvati wolves accept albinism and melanism; they even see these individual wolves as omens of good luck. both miroslav and yashvati has an alignment as eclectic as their backgrounds. they could range from the truly good, to the horribly bad.
