Travelling was the worst part about this trip. He made good speed though, and it was a shorter route than it was to the north where he would be going last. Perhaps he should have found someone else to carry the message, but this was family so he would much rather deliver it himself. The large male's paws stopped at the end of the borders. Raising his head in a call for creed or regulus. Though he wasn't yet aware his cousin had taken over - he probably would soon find out. Lowering his head he sat and waited patiently. It was patrol as usual today. The fluffy male was sticking close to home lately. He'd found that traveling was taking more and more of a toll on him the older he got. His joints didn't appreciate it as much and he was definitely beginning to tire much faster than he used to. As much as he hated to admit it he just wasn't as young as he used to be and every change he was going through was inevitable. It was an interesting change from his daily routine on the border when a familiar howl rung out for him and Regulus. He immediately recognized that the voice belonged to Rivaxorous and he turned his direction towards the male. It wasn't long before he came upon the brown and gray marked Alpha and he greeted the younger wolf with a welcoming smile. It'd been a little bit since the last time they'd met and of course he was always welcome to visit. He couldn't help wonder what brought him this time. "Nice ta see ye Riv. Wha' brings ye here today?" Walk, "Talk" Think

He was just setting the last herb from a recent foray beyond the borders into place to be sorted when the call rippled to his ears. Creed and himself. Well. He had no trouble answering. There was something familiar in the voice, in any case. Hadn’t he vaguely heard that call while he and his mother had been ill? Regulus turned on his hocks and trotted out of the main chamber of the caves that made up the dens of his family and Solveiga, trotting briskly down the ravine and breaking into an easy, energy conserving lope as he broke free of the wooded patch and into the plains. It took him little time to reach Creed and Riv, and as he slowed to his usual stately trot, he took in the sight of the younger male. He looked a lot like cousin Arian, and took a moment to reflect out how the boy had grown. Last time he’d seen him face to face he’d been a pup. “Hello, Riv. Is everything alright?” He paused as the wind gusted, shifting briefly to bring the younger fellow’s scent straight to his face, and a grin broke out on his jaws, heavy tail waving cheerfully as he lowered his haunches to the ground. “So you’ve a pack now. Congratulations.” The words came easily, genuine and heartfelt as his fathomless sapphire gaze twinkled.

It was Creed who came to greet him first, soon after though a bright red being pulled himself up. Rivaxorus blanked for a moment, eyes widening at the brightness of the male. Well, at least he could search through his memories for his name. It must have been Regulus, a small smile pulled across his features. Guess this meant that Regulus mother was retired. Judging by how both the men acted at least. "Yes, it's been almost two seasons now since I made Myriad. Sorry I couldn't catch you last time, is your mother doing well?" he asked as his tail flicked for a moment. Eyes pulling towards Creed. "I actually came this time to invite you guys to my wedding." he beamed a little with pride. "It will be at love islands in a few days time, I figured I'd extend the invitation to my friends and family. Creed you're most definitely welcome to come." Rivaxorus sat down so he could conceal his excitement. Though he was a little interested in his bright red cousin. He would need to rest before he left anyways, that way he could head straight North after stopping by home. "Talk"

Ears would flick backwards towards the sound of another wolf approaching and he wasn't surprised to see Regulus. He'd offer a friendly tail wag to the younger male before turning his attention back to Rivaxorous. An ear remained trained on Regulus as he spoke and he sheepishly remembered he hadn't updated the Archangel of Riv's previous visit when Surreal had been sick and pregnant. Surreal of course knew of the visit, but now that Regulus was in charge he supposed it had slipped his mind. Oh well. He couldn't help but notice the bright energy Riv seemed to exuberant. It almost seemed like he couldn't contain himself. He was surprised when an invitation for a wedding was given. An eyebrow raised at the offer at first. Wasn't Rivaxorous a little young? He shrugged the thought away. Rivaxorous seemed quite happy so that was all that mattered. He grinned broadly for the male. A wedding definitely seemed like a grand idea. He was sure it would be a lot of fun. "Congratulations! Ah'd love ta come." He glanced towards Regulus to see what he'd say. Walk, "Talk" Think
