Curiosity killed the cat....

The she wolf had once been filled with unwavering curiosity, but her family ruined that for her. Probably for the better since curiosity and the lack of sense is why her mother ended up alone and why she herself ended up alone. She still had a sense of it, but it was now tainted with distrust so thick that it left her without friends, without family, and without a pack. Outsiders were to blame and here it seemed like they were all outsiders. Today however she had been watching a male for a while, she had not cared if he had seen her or not as she did not plan on going to him. She wanted to know who he was, she wanted to talk him or anyone really. On the other side of that coin she wanted to bare her teeth and go the opposite direction. Her loneliness and curiosity drew her towards him but her lack of trust kept her from moving any closer. Nadiya was sure if she kept this up she would be alone forever but her uncles words kept floating through her mind "Curiosity killed the cat". She definitely wasn't a cat, she wasn't even a pup anymore. With that thought in mind Nadiya walked forward a few paces having made a decision. If he chose to acknowledge her, then she would talk to him. Aside from that she would keep her distance. "Speech" |
