Slowly but surely he was working through the to-do list he had made himself quite some time ago. There were just a few things around the pack that needed sorting out or clarifying, but his real main goal was to get closer to his pack members. This time he was going to kill two birds with one stone as he set out to find Quelt. The man had been around Fiori for a while now, but he still hadn't gotten an answer from Quelt on what area of the pack he wished to specialize in. So that's what Leo had in mind to find out today! He padded across the Mangroves and up into the area around the Falls, his sapphire gaze peeled for the striped, scarred man. He wasn't sure how he felt about that saying now that Roza had her little bird friend Abby around. 'Kill two birds with one stone.' It made him a bit uncomfortable now to think about killing birds. He didn't think he could ever hunt another bird now. He chuckled softly at himself at the thought and brushed away his idol thoughts so that he could focus on his surroundings once more. ooc: having this set after Quelt finds out bright moon is pregnant. Quelt had meant to go see Leo, he just had gotten so caught up in things. He was a worry wart when it came to a lot of things. The male had even half a mind to actually confront Amalia himself. Though hardly anyone in the pack knew of him, he teetered on the edge of being a stranger he supposed. The rank of a scholar had crossed his mind, in his old age there wasn't much more he could offer other than his voice and moral support. Not to mention with Bright Moon expecting... his children. Though she had asked for it, he also had to notify Leo of THAT as well. When he heard Leo's bark, his head snapped up. Almost a bit bewildered, but soon as the male was in view Quelt let out a soft relieved sigh. Seems like Leo had beat him to the punch. He approached carefully as he usually did. "It's nice to see you Leo, I've been meaning to talk to you I've just been... distracted." he would explain in further detail at a later time in this conversation. It wasn't like he could spring out, I got one of your members pregnant and I'm freaking out over it.... that wasn't normal. "Talk"

Leo gave Quelt a friendly smile as the male turned toward him with a greeting, Leo's tail wagging slowly behind him. Quelt seemed a bit distracted and that was only confirmed when he mentioned that he had been distracted. Leo nodded in understanding and said, "Not to worry. I know how that can be. I've been meaning to get over here to talk to you for a while myself." He chuckled softly and settled on his haunches across from the larger male and asked, "What's on your mind that's got you do distracted, hm?" He couldn't help but wonder if it had anything to do with him and Bright Moon since he had seen the two of them sitting together at the last pack meeting. He wouldn't jump to any conclusions though, instead letting Quelt speak for himself. "Talk" "You" Think

He was just lucky that Leo was kind. If this had been another wolf he probably could have gotten into some deep trouble. At least, Quelt assumed that was how it worked. It wasn't like no one got distracted over things. He shifted a little, as Leo asked him he would chuckle a bit nervously. "Well the first thing I wanted to talk about was my rank. I don't think I'd be any use to a specific category of fighter or hunter, even healer anymore. I do have my experience at least - so I'd like to be a scholar." he hoped there wasn't a problem with this. Quelt didn't want to be useless. He was getting older though. "The second is... Bright Moon is pregnant... I'm the father." Quelt breathed it out trying to make sure he kept himself calm. "We hit it off really well and I really do like her. Leo watched the man that stood across from him curiously as he chuckled nervously. He wasn't sure he completely believed that Quelt wouldn't be able to do any of the other positions, but he understood where the man was coming from and he certainly had no qualms with him being a scholar. Leo nodded and offered the man a smile. "Scholar you'll be then." The second bit of news was much, much more interesting and way more exciting. Leo's brows lifted with surprise and he gave the older man a wide grin. "That's great news though, Quelt! Congratulations to you and Bright. And thank you for letting me know." He didn't think there was much concern over Fiori outgrowing its home at the moment so there was no need to taint this joyus occasion. He was sure there was more to the story, especially since Quelt had said that they really liked each other instead of that they loved each other, but he wasn't one to be nosey in other's business.
