So much for his change of personality, right? Arsenal was still bordering on still wanting his siblings, or another companion, and not at all. Really, either way would not bother him. So, because of that thought in his mind, he wasn't really hiding from the others. He was still in broad sight, walking to....well, wherever he ended up, really. He wasn't sure where he was going. If he had never been there before. In a way, the gray male was debating joining a pack. Maybe.

Arsenal was unsure of it, really. There would be new places to explore, but he wasn't sure about it. What if there was another siege? He'd be out of a home again.

A quiet grumble leaving Arsenal, he continued on.

Though Poser isn't large, he's commanding. There's something about his presence, something about the way he carries himself. He wants all of the attention on him when he enters the room, and he won't have it any other way. Maybe that was why he insisted on his home being his first, and maybe those of his companions second. Poser, you see, would be their leader. He would be in charge of them. Protecting them. Keeping them safe. Dare he say loving them.

Not too far off, Poser can see a young man. It's not hard to close the gap, what with his floating gait and unstoppable posture. It happens easily. A bit of a hunt from the shadow, moving confidently. Sweeping in. "Where ya headed, handsome?" His head tosses, pulling up beside the stranger's shoulder. His words are colored with the Russian accent it was proving to be a lot harder to shake than initially anticipated. At least his words are clear. Poser will take what he can get.

Arsenal had almost given up on any sign of other creatures. Maybe he was going to be alone on this part of his journey; he didn't mind either way at this point, really. At least, that's what he thought until he heard the other moving behind him, and turned his head slightly, eyes widening at the creature. The solid black creature was no wolf, but it was still something canine...Arsenal just wasn't sure what it was, exactly. It was an interesting creature, anyways, and the wolf stopped in his tracks, allowing the other to get closer. The other canine had no other markings, but Arsenal was already interested in his appearance, a part of him hoping to learn more in this encounter. Or, at least, another one.

At the other canine's heavily accented words, calling him handsome, Arsenal's eyes widened for a different reason as he struggled to understand what was going on. Was this stranger, this odd looking creature trying to flirt with him? That couldn't be it, right? Maybe it was just something the canine called wolves.

Yeah, that had to be it. Struggling to get over his slight shock, Arsenal gave a small smile, although it still showed the shock he had just went through. "I'm not really sure. Just wandering, I guess." Curiosity got the best of him, and he tilted his head slightly. "And you? Where are you headed?"

The shadow's head tosses, and he moves in such a way a wolf (at least a bulky one) cannot. Light on his feet but powerful in his chest, doing his damndest to barely make a sound. And he wouldn't really if he didn't want to. Oh how fantastic he feels. It's not quite predatory anywhere other than in his mind, but there's something... he doesn't want to say foreboding, but there's something foreboding about him. Right. When he moves his head hangs low, eyes remain fixed on the world around. That's so necessary. Had to look. Had to see. Had to see everything, as Poser is a sighthound. A wolfhound. Long bred to take down wolves, but well, the shadow does a different kind of taking down.

Poser reaches over the stranger's shoulders, somewhere between a nip and a nudge. His tail wags low behind him, moving, fluid. There's something he can't even place within himself. Not on these days. On these days, the monster is at play, and Poser would love to let him stay. He wants monsters just like him. The shadow longs for toys, longs for things to keep.

His head tosses back, long ears shaking elegantly to the side. He's beautiful. There's no way anyone will deny it to his face, at least do it and remain unharmed. Don't step on Poser's vanity, after all. Wandering. How boring. Still, the man with the brilliant sapphire eyes feigns an interested look. He's at least... trying to pretend. At least the young man has the sense to ask him in return. There's a long, dramatic sigh before he responds. "Oh, I was considering heading home, I just... don't want to go alone." There's a glumness to his tone, though his step remains elegant and practiced. At least the mood isn't acting-- being alone would be the death of him yet.

At the canine's movement, something between a nip and a nudge landing on Arsenal's side, he froze for a moment. He was unsure of what to do, a mix of fear and curiosity coursing through him. The possible mystery that the stranger, the shadowy canine, held, was leaving a part of Arsenal wishing that he could travel with him.

At the canine's words about not wanting to go home alone, there was a struggle in Arsenal's thoughts; should he go with the stranger? The last thing that he wanted was to be killed, or something, from following the stranger to wherever he went. But maybe, just maybe, the other canine just wanted some sort of company. If that were the case, then they had something in common, right?

"I suppose I could go with you. My wandering can wait." Arsenal finally offered, giving his head a small tilt to the side.

There's something strong and capable about Poser, despite his lack of substance. He's damn good at keeping himself alive, and he's lucky that the fur has grown back over his scars. Hell, he'd always be thankful that it had grown back as well as it had. He was safer this way. Wouldn't show he'd run into trouble, wouldn't show that he'd come under attack. It's never good to appear that you were in less than tip-top form.

Poser doesn't have the poor manners required to kill at random, and he assumes that no one else does either. Everything needed to come with a reason, even from a maniac. He would know. He was a maniac, some days. The cannabis, of course, usually keeps him calm. Sometimes the shadow doesn't even need it, but it's a comfortable crutch. The long limbed creature looks to the younger man, head cocking softly to the side. He's agreeing to come along? But he hasn't even told the creature where they're going.

"I live on the south continent, on Auster," There's a glimmer in his eye, a high step as he walks closer to the edge of the sea. "It's on the northern edge, it won't be far, but we'll have to go for a swim to get there." His voice is a soft, wistful longing. He wants the man to come with him, to maybe spend some time, but he doesn't want the creature in too deep on something he doesn't know or doesn't want. Though Poser is unstable, he is not inconsiderate. Not rude. That would be terrible practice, after all.

There was still the air of danger coming from the other canine, but it was interesting to Arsenal. The wolf thinks he can keep himself alive; he has so far, after all, so there's no reason he couldn't now. Maybe not the best at keeping himself alive, but he must be a little okay at it. He's made it this far. At the canine's words, mentioning the swim, Arsenal only gave a small nod. A swim would be a good thing, right? It would keep him in shape, and he could go wherever he was headed if he were in shape. Wait, he had to listen and keep everything in mind. Maybe he could visit the canine sometimes.

Southern continent of Auster, northern edge. Following behind the canine, who walked closer to the ocean's edge, Arsenal hesitated for just a moment. Was the canine waiting for him to go in the water first?

He should introduce himself first, though. Right? Unmoving from his spot, he spoke. "We still haven't been properly introduced. I'm Arsenal." The use of his nickname may come in handy for this. After all, the gray hued wolf didn't want to give his real name away just yet.

Maybe that would come later.

Poser wants so badly to be able to take the man home with him. It would feel so so good to not wake up to an empty house. Maybe he couldn't keep his friend forever, maybe not yet, but maybe he could start to build his following. Maybe he could start to build an empire out of the castle that he was working on fixing up enough to call home. He was so hopeful. There's something charming about Poser's hopefulness, and the way that he treats others because of it. It's charming. He tries his hardest to be charming about it, at least. The cat ate the canary style of the shadow has been nothing other than lovely, nothing other than kind and charming with strangers.

The man stands on the edge of the water, head high, tail wagging. "Poser, nice to meet ya." And with that, the shadow plunges into the water. He's elegant and graceful, but he's crashing through the sea water with a reckless abandon. Poser loves it, and he plans to play with Arsenal a bit as he goes. That was part of the fun, after all, wasn't it? All about the fun. Constant fun. An adventure. That was how his life worked.

He turns and looks, treading water and waiting for Arsenal. There's a grin on his face, and he's ready. Ready for anything.

At the canine's, Poser's, words, Arsenal dipped his head, a grin stretching across his face as he followed the other into the water. The name sounded like a nickname, really, like his, and the wolf wasn't quite sure what to think. Even if it were a nickname, Arsenal knew that he couldn't exactly be mad; after all, he hadn't given Poser his true name, either. A part of him wanted to bring up the other's name, but he could almost tell that maybe it would be too personal for the canine to share, considering they have first met. It was only until Poser started swimming forwards that Arsenal followed, his legs paddling after him with less of the reckless abandon that his new friend had.

As Poser turned, Arsenal swam faster, until he was close enough to come to a stop, waiting for the other to lead the way.
