She makes it as far as the delta and just... stops. Something is sore inside Lux, something is weary, and something is hurting. It's a dull ache, but she doesn't pay too much mind. Better not to. Better not to worry too much, not to feel too much. Feeling was a double edged sword, you see. Feeling left her... vulnerable. Always vulnerable when it came to everyone else. Always vulnerable when it came to herself. When your mind is sharp, it's easy to cut yourself pretty deeply without realizing. Without thinking too much about it. Easily overland, the creature moves. Still. The Delta. A good place to rest, even as an autumn breeze kicked up. Enough thick fur to be fine on her own. She was... a little sore, at best. At worst? She wasn't going to mess with her own feelings. Lux wouldn't dare think too deeply about it. That would only make things worse. It would only do worse things to her heart. Emotions are hard for her. That's why she's a politician. Easily, the creature sits at the point where two rivers meet. She's graceful as she settles, laying with her chin upon her paws. Dusk was breaking quickly.
