Here's a thread for all who are interested in doing NaNoWriMo this year. If you don't know what that is, you can go to NaNoWriMo.org for more information, but the basic premise is that it is an event with people all around the world setting time aside to write a 50,000+ word novel during the month of November. That's 50,000 words between the 1st and the 31st of November. Don't worry if you haven't started yet - it's never too late to start. This thread is for all Ardent NaNo-ers to gather to share plots, encouragement, writing tools, or to angst over plot or writer's block issues, or really anything NaNo related. Have fun!

Hi, I am Tealah, and I am being a NaNo rebel this year. What I mean is that I am writing my 50,000 words on a story I started months ago, which isn't, strictly-speaking, encouraged. I am also probably going to finish my book before I hit 50k since the books are juvenile fiction so they aren't terribly long, and will start the next one in the series. Again, not exactly the way you are supposed to play lol.

Some writing prompts!
Might add more later!
- At birth, everyone has the date they will die tattooed on their arms. You were supposed to die yesterday.
- You've been able to read minds since you were 7 years old. Mostly you watch people's thoughts passively and undetected, but one day someone talks back.
- You are a kid's imaginary friend, and he's growing up. You're starting to fade.
- One day, you notice that there is a new key on your key chain.
- "Well this is a nice change of scenery" "We're in a prison cell..." "I was being sarcastic"
- They were afraid of me, but I don't blame them. I'm afraid of myself too.
