ooc: Get your first round posts in by December 1st! Giving a few extra days to account for the Thanksgiving holiday <3

Leo gave himself a shake as he stepped out of his den, his breath forming a cloud around his nose. It wasn't the coldest winter he remembered, but it was still plenty chilly. He made sure to wait till mid-day to trot out to their usual meeting area so at least it would be the warmest part of the day. It had been a while since their last pack meeting and quite a bit had happened since then so he figured they were due for another one! He padded over to the fallen log that he usually sat on, hopping up onto it and settling on his haunches. His howl echoed across Fiori's lands for a moment before he let the call fade into silence. Considering how many members they had now he was expecting this to be a fairly large meeting. Assuming everyone came of course. There had been much more activity recently and that made him happy. Perhaps now they were finally on the right track.

He really wasn't far when the howl rang through the air of the afternoon. He had been following the borders of Fiori and exploring the lands- getting to know them. He'd yet to fully explore the mangrove, having reunited with his family over at the falls he made a separate trip for the mangrove. His closeness made the howl ring quite clear in his ears and it wasn't much of a surprise that he was the first attendee. He calmly walked up to the log, sitting a few feet away on his haunches as he gave a respectful bow of his head to the king. His ears folded against his head with his bow, and after a moment he lifted his eyes to greet those of his uncle's. "Afternoon, Leo. This should be fun." He hadn't been able to meet anyone in Fiori aside from his mothers and brothers so far, there was an excitement to see the faces of the wolves that shared a home with his family budding within him.

She watched her brother from behind, hunkered down in a bush not too far away from his favorite log. A sly grin spread over her lips as she laid in wait, having seen him headed this way as she went to go and check the falls for some late blooming plants. It was meeting time, eh? There was a slow drift of snow that had started to gather on the ground, but she knew that it would warm up and rain again either later today or tomorrow. A small blanket of snow was all she needed though. Her small bunny tail wiggled as she watched Leo, crouching down further when she saw his howl come to a close and Archie entered. Fixing him with a hard stare, she made sure that he wouldn't give away her position. It was Leo hunting season, that was for sure! Even though the healer was getting up there in age, she still acted like a pup sometimes. On days where her joints ached from the cold, she felt even more driven to bring back her youth by... well subjecting Leo to her bouts of craziness. She waited until her son was seated until she crept out of the bush, stalking up ever so slowly behind her sunny brother.

As Amalia got closer, she eyed a small pile of snow on the other side of the log that had swept off the bark, creating a nice little cushion. Taking a few steps towards her left, she broke into a run before leaping at Leo's back, her outstretched paws seeking to hit him just behind his shoulders and hopefully onto his face in the snow. She knew that it wasn't the best look for a leader, but poor Leo was always subjected to her silliness. If Ama was able to knock him over, she aimed to sit on the outer portion of his shoulder, pinning him under her smaller body. Of course, there was always the chance that she would just bounce off of him and land in the small dusting of snow herself.

She approached slowly, a rabbit clutched in her jaws, having been out hunting for her breakfast when she'd heard the call. It had taken her quite some time to actually catch it, unfortunately, and she'd just managed it when she heard the howl. Welp, she couldn't ignore that now could she?

It took her a little while to get to the meeting, and as such there were a few members there already. No one she really recognized too well, so she settled herself at the edge of the group with her meal placed at her paws, not going to dig into it until everyone was done talking because she didn't want to be rude. She really wasn't certain what they were going to talk about that day, but she was sure it would be something interesting and important. Then again, it was her first pack meeting and she really didn't know what to expect from it. Maybe she would be surprised.

Stocking up for the winter had been on his mind since the change of temperature. He wasn't sure how this winter would be and he wanted to be prepared. This meant extra work for him, but the young man enjoyed it, he enjoyed keeping busy and having things to do. More and more it seemed the only time he could sit still and relax was when he went to bed at night. Often he had wished that he didn't need to sleep so he could get more things done. He needed more time, but the male gave in when he knew he needed sleep. He had started making stockpiles, hunting whatever he could whether he had been hungry or not, then he would bury it deep under the ground, in spots that were less likely to remain muddy and damp from the weather so far. This meant higher grounds in the territory and at times he found nice caves by the falls to hide food in also. This food would freeze with the ground and when it was needed could be dug up and used to feed others in time of low food supplies. It made him happy to think just how useful this could be, depending on the winter they would have.

His uncle's call rang out just as he finished burying the carcass of a young doe. It had been one that simply had died, but it didn't reek of disease so the male new it would be safe to keep. His black legs hid the dirt that caked them and he quickly finished his duties before taking off towards the meeting. He had expected others to already be there and he had been right. It wasn't many, but he felt as though he should have hustled a little more. Greeting everyone quietly with a friendly wag of his tail and a smile the hunter took a seat and waited for the rest of the pack and the the meeting to start.

ooc: not starting the second round yet, just responding to Ama xD

Leo gave Archelaus a pleased grin when the silver male appeared first. "Afternoon, Archelaus. Indeed it should be!" He always liked meetings. It gave him a chance to see everyone in one place and enjoy a moment out of his own head. However he wasn't able to complete his own thoughts because out of nowhere he felt paws shoving into his back, pulling a startled yelp from him and making him flail as he tumbled off of the log he was sitting on. He went head first into the snow near the log, flopping into it with a soft whooshing thud. She scrambled to his paws, snow clinging to the fur around his head, neck, and chest, sputtering as he spun around to see who was to blame.

Unsurprisingly his red-headed sister was there behind him and he fixed her with a glare even though he was sure to look completely non-threatening with all this snow sticking to him. "I swear! I'm gonna have to put you in timeout one of these days!" he exclaimed, his glare showing his irritation, but he couldn't keep the grin off his face. There was no way to really be mad at Ama's silliness. He scooped up a chunk of snow with his ivory-dipped forepaw and tossed it in her direction before shaking himself off to rid himself of the snow she had pushed him into. He hopped back up on his perch, making sure to keep a close eye on Ama to make sure she didn't try to cause any more trouble. Faelyn and Jackson had come in while he was distracted so he gave each of them a smile while still keeping Ama in the corner of his eye.

Razor made his way to the meeting carefully. He had a lot of things to mull over inside of his head. Most of them about Sabriel, others partly wanting to hold a language lesson for all the wolves in Fiori. He'd have to talk to Leo about it, because it would be exciting. Of course he'd never force anyone to come either but he had a lot on his belt for it. He watched as his aunt Ama though made an assault on Leo. Making him smile a bit at the two siblings, which made him look towards Jackson. Bounding over, he bumped his forehead into his brothers shoulder gently. Though he then turned to his aunt hoping she wasn't too busy to hear him for a moment. "Hey aunty Ama, do you think one of these days you could look at Sabriel..... She's a little girl I recently adopted." he sheepishly looked off to the side. A bit of embarrassment over the words. Other than that he sat to try and settle himself for the meeting.

Athena trotted up to the meeting area just in time to see Amalia shove her brother into the snow, making Athena stop in her tracks with a snort of laughter. Leo just couldn't catch a break, could he? She giggled as she walked up to join the group while Leo scrambled up and threw a clump of snow back at Amalia. Very small pay back in her opinion. "If you don't, I will," she added to Leo's threat of putting Amalia in time out. She couldn't help but grin though as she watched her wife being so silly. Amalia definitely kept them both young. There was never a dull moment as long as her little red-headed woman was around.

She walked over to sit next to Archelaus, giving her son a smile and leaning over to press her nose to his cheek. It was such a relief to have almost all of her children in one place. She imagined that this was as complete as her little family would ever be so she was grateful to have it. She knew it was a possibility for Tib to leave Fiori at least to be with Finch, but at least she would know where he was. That was the worst part, the not knowing and the uncertainty. She turned her attention back toward Leo to wait for the meeting to start while she kept an eye out for the rest of her kids.

She had been hanging around the den so far today, keeping nice and warm in the den that she shared with Razor. The pup was grateful for ending up at the borders of this pack, she had been well taken care of so far. There was days she struggled with missing her family, but the girl was mostly optimistic about her future here in this new pack. Though she hadn't really met many others yet she knew once she fattened up some and felt a little better she would be traveling around the pack with Razor (so she hoped she could). She was beginning to see Razor as a father figure and had really grown attached to him rather quickly. She was deep within the den when the call from Leo rang out. Her ears perked and she hesitated, her mouth still wrapped around the end of the bone she was chewing. She knew from before her mother would always leave with that type of call and she was ordered to stay in the den, but this time was different now. She hadn't been told to stay so why not go see what these calls were about?

Wagging her scrawny tail the pup dropped the bone and jumped to her feet before taking off out of the den. Running quickly towards the call she realized that the meeting place didn't seem to far from the den. She slowed as she saw the large gathering and stopped just a few feet from the gathering. Looking around the girl's eyes scanned the crown before they settled on Razor. Wagging her tail she trotted right over to him and the orange male he was sitting beside. The clumsy little pup bumped her whole body into the large grey male before moving to sit in front of him so that her back had contact with his front legs. Tossing her head upwards then back a little bit she looked up to the male smiling.

Jayne was humming to herself as she padded through the mangroves on her way to Amalia's herb den. She had some dandelions caught between her teeth, roots and all. They were kinda wilted from the cold, but she figured maybe Ama could use them anyway! She had found them during her little adventure out of the pack lands early that morning so she didn't want to waste any time taking them to her mother! She hoped her momma would like them. Just as she got to the herb den though she heard her uncle's howl for a pack meeting. She peeked in the den real quick to see if Ama was there, but she wasn't. Ah well! She sat the herbs down in the center of the den for Ama to find later and then hurried out so she wouldn't be late for the meeting.

She trotted up to the meeting, spotting her mothers, Razor, Jackson, a woman that had been at the pack hunt, and a gray man she didn't quite recognize. It looked like her mother knew him though. Maybe one of her brothers? There seemed to be brothers popping up all the time these days. She saw a little girl sitting at Razor's paws too and she wondered if that was the pup he had told her about when they talked. Jayne went over to where Athena was sitting and snuggled into her side with a smile. It was cold after all!

The boy fumbled over his paws as he moved wandering around the pack lands and looking for something to get into. He was bored and couldn't seem to find his parents or siblings. He was alone and bored which could be a bad combination, but so far nothing came to mind that he could do. He huffed as he moved along, his bi colored eyes looking for anything he could get into.

The call from his alpha made him stop in his tracks, almost making him trip and fall. He stopped looking in the direction, eyes narrowed as he wondered what the call was for. It was calling the pack together and he wondered if that really included him. He had yet to meet others in the pack other in the pack and was a little unsure as far as if he should go or not. Although it was something to do which he was currently looking for.

Huffing lightly the boy turned his body and quickly headed towards the call. When he made it to the crowd he abruptly stopped and looked at all the wolves gathered and suddenly felt rather unsure of what he was doing here. No one in his family was here and he felt like dashing to the nearest bush and hiding, but there wasn't any close. So he stayed at the back of the gathering unsure of what he should do.

Gentle Night felt bad, the most they had done was hang out with their dad which didn't leave time for the family. Maybe they could all do something together? That was always fun and keeping a connection was important. The pup scrambled across their paws towards the sound of a meeting a chance to talk to their family! Plus there was the announcement that their dad told them they had to share on their own. Night had to tell them they didn't want to be called a girl otherwise that's what they would be called and Night didn't want that either.

Night spotted Blue Moon luckily, their body bounding towards their brother. As they stopped and bumped into him. "Hey moon, I'm sorry we haven't hung out much. Do you think after the meeting we could go exploring and playing?" Night smiled with that. As they tried to settle down, perhaps this would make moon feel a little better about being at the meeting too. Their parents didn't seem to be here yet.

She left herself in a false sense of security for herself. Heather made an attempt to get around and get to know Fiori better. Even going as far as to spar with Lionel, show up to fight training - do the pack hunt. Heather was falling behind and she hated herself for it. It wasn't something that would get her down though. The young woman would stride up to the meeting with her paws soft onto the ground. Smiling at her dad as she laughed slightly at her aunt trying to bombard him as usual. As she did though, she was tongue tied. Not even a hello wanting to leave her throat. Silently the girl found her own seat and wait patiently.

Leo as Heather's father is free to crash her threads as he see's fit. Lionel as her close brother is also allowed to do the same.

A meeting, the man getting up there in age stretched his limbs from his den. Noticing Blue Moon and Gentle Night had already taken off. Quelt tried to nudge Bright moon for a moment as he stood up looking around for Autumn Star. Oh well she'd show up sometime. As such he answered the call, walking promptly up to his children to give them both a lick on the head before sitting there next to them. A family was a family after all and he shot the two a smile, meetings could be stressful especially if there were a lot of wolves involved. His attention turned back towards Leo, awaiting to be addressed.

His time had been spent rather selfishly lately. He'd went off to explore some more and during his time he tried his best to see if he could track down Selene. It was different to have a friend outside of Fiori and he found he'd rather enjoyed her company. Her nomadic lifestyle certainly had intrigued him and he had far more questions about it. He knew he could never bring himself to leave Fiori, but he could certainly learn more about the gypsies, right?

Before he knew it, he heard a howl ring through the air. He knew that sound anywhere! It was time for a meeting! He was still out of the pack lands so he raced as fast as his paws could carry him. By the time he arrived he could tell he wasn't late but he certainly wasn't as early as he would have liked to be. He scanned the wolves gathered so far and was surprised to see quite a few new faces. Fiori was getting really big! Finally he spotted Heather and he padded over to her to sit down. He grinned and lightly bumped her shoulder with his own.

Ryka was asleep in her den, when the Alpha's howl woke her. Rising to her feet, she padded out into the snow and stretched. Ryka then headed off towards the pack clearing. Arriving at the clearing, Ryka could see a number of wolves already and was feeling terrified already. This would be the first time that she had met any of the Fiori wolves apart from from the group who she had participated in a hunt with, a few days after she had joined the pack. Slinking around the edge of the group, after greeting Leo,Ryka spotted a space and curled up in it, keeping her head low. Looking up from her lying down position, she observed her new packmates quietly.

I have my mother's dreams,

I have father's eyes,

The boy was still getting used to Koron’s presence around. The small polar fox followed at the youth’s heels as he started towards the call his father had made, feeling a sense of anxiety as he pressed on. The little fox was a new presence all together… but Alfred found himself grateful for her. She was an interesting creature, sweet in her own way, and, in others, she reminded him a bit of her mother Korrin. The little creature followed at his heels even now, her bright blue gaze shining.

“Your siblings will be here too, yes?” The young fox questioned. Alfred gave a small nod in answer. “Yes… they will be…” He told her, giving her a small smile. “We’re almost there. Then you can see just how many wolves live in Fiori with my family.”

When he arrived where the others were gathered the youth took a breath. He still hadn’t told Leo about Koron… and part of him was worried about her taking that mission upon herself. But no, she stayed by his side, thank the Gods. At least until she saw a uniquely marked pup… Alfred blinked, luckily grabbing her before she made contact with Sabriel, but the fox was clearly intrigued by the other. He sighed, sitting down, speaking in a soft, yet slightly stern tone. “Sit down Koron…”

Vitus was moving towards the meeting as well, a little bit behind Alfred with Carlisle following him. He was glad to see Jayne there, as well as his mothers. Ears perked towards the other wolves present, feeling a bit amused to see his mother in such good spirits. Both of them deserved to be happy, the brute thought to himself. Vitus came to sit by Jayne and Athena, offering his younger sibling a smile. “Cold?” He asked, feeling a brush of cool air as Carlisle came to settle down on his other side. “Hoo! Quite lovely weather if you ask me.” The bird’s bright eyes settled upon Athena, tipping his beak towards her. “Good day to you miss Athena.”

She was tired, pulling herself from a sweet slumber… it was hard, but Carletta had somehow managed to do just that. The female was breathing slowly in and out as she made her way to the area where the meeting was being held. Naturally Leo was there… as well as some faces that she was slowly growing used to. Carletta smiled upon seeing Leo, feeling her heart flutter a little bit. Honestly she wished she could just steal him away and spend time with him herself. He was one of the rare wolves who seemed interested in her language, wanting to learn it to better converse with her. She took a seat on the edge of the meeting, though it was fairly obvious where her gaze stayed. Leo was really the only one Carletta could count as a friend in Fiori so far after all!

Winter was here, and Epiphron was definitely feeling it in the air. While these lands were rather mild, in terms of weather, it was still cold enough to shiver when she left her den in the morning. The ocean could bring in some of the harsher winter weather at times, too. She was infinitely grateful to not live somewhere where snow was more abundant, though. She shook her coat out as she stretched, slowly waking from the nap she'd been taking.

Her son had issued a call for call for Fiori to gather for their seasonal meeting. Nothing about his voice made her worry - hopefully all was well with him. She knew that he had taken his wife's disappearance hard, but she knew time always made things easier, even if the wounds did not heal fully. Epiphron took her time in moving, only partially on purpose. Her joints felt more stiff with each season that passed, as resting became more and more tempting.

She wasn't at all surprised that most of the pack had gathered already. Amalia seemed to be teasing Leo, which was no surprise, and the scene brought a grin to her face. She gravitated toward her children, lightly bumping Amalia's shoulder in greeting as she settled down on her hindquarters.
