the world is yours to explore

The bronze female stepped across the Earth with ease, her pads light as they moved effortlessly across the forest floor. Her icy gaze swayed this way and that, taking in the beauty of the world around her. Winter swept across the land with elegance, the south however, seemed to be blessed with a mild winter. Where the young healer walked, there seemed to be no sign of snow, rain however seemed to have watered the earth the day before, making the dirt between her toes cool and muddy. Zuri didn't mind. It was a sign that her intent to find new gardens of herbs was not yet in danger of being frosted over.

She had begun to hum to herself, a light and gentle song that vibrated the cords in her throat, but not loud enough to disturb the creatures around her. It was a habit she gained while living alone without her siblings to occupy the silence. For a moment, she smiled at the memories of their bickering and poking fun of each other, but the moment soon past at the reminder of their separation. Her mood was down for but only a moment, for while she was lost in memories, Zuri had stumbled into a truly beautiful sight to behold.

Wrapped gently by the forest around it, an outstretched patch of plants and herbs sprouted out all around the female. Her blue orbs grew wide, her mouth slightly agate at the sight before her. Zuri had been born and raised in the southern lands of this continent and yet had never stumbled upon a more perfect garden, as if the world had crafted the patch just for her. An Utopia of sorts. Though winter would hinder it's ultimate beauty, the mild winter still allowed the few strong herbs to continue to flourish.  

She had no idea where to begin.
