This was one of the woman's most favorite lands. Other than the fact that it was wide open. And soulless. And boring... Alright, maybe she didn't like it here as much and she thought. But she hadn't been very many places and refused to return north or cross the rivers surrounding her. So to her, this Rock Garden was exciting enough.

She hopped around, staring at her feet as each different shape and shade of stone touched her paws. She was focusing so well on her balance and her stepping  yet not so much as to where she was going. She had been here a hundred times yet she swore that she never stepped on the same stone twice.

The girl would finally look up as she continued to pounce from rock to rock and not a second later she lost her footing and her paw slid across a stone, slicing her paw pad letting blood trickle out from beneath it. She couldn't help but think of all the time she spent in her ship-den, terrified of the outside world and here she was damaging her beautiful body. "Shhhh-" she huffed under her breath in response to the sting. She found herself a seat exactly where she was standing and lifted her paw, trying to see the damage. It was difficult but she was trying hard.

Trotting along the she-wolf of ebony with a bit of cream enjoyed the feel of the wind flowing through her fur. The taste of the cool breeze on her tongue. In her wake she left prints where she landed only to spring forward again. It was fun to pretend for only a moment to be one of the many creatures she and her wolfkin preyed upon. The way they leaped and frolicked. Yet she looked like none of them, for she was entirely wolf. Proud of her heritage.

She blinked when she spotted another upon the terrain as she followed the path of rocks. A lady of white and black. Upon spotting the two-toned she-wolf she skid to a halt, her rump hitting the turf and she winced. Shaking off the slight pain that lasted only about three seconds she decided to approach the other lady.

With cautious steps she approached the female. "Miss? Are you hurt?" She asked upon inhaling the scent of crimson life force - blood. She didn't think it was a great amount for she didn't see a pool of it upon the ground itself. Even so she already knew from growing up that even a tiny wound could become fatal if left untreated. "Are you in need of assistance?"

Her head would swing as the presence of another came through her voice. Ears laid back onto her skull lightly as her eyes narrowed in disgust. "No, I'm fine. Thank you." She spoke rather rudely to the woman who was offering her assistance. And then she would start to walk off to leave the girl without a goodbye. But the  second she dropped her paw to the surface a quick pain would shoot through the bottom of her foot. "Psss- ow, ow, ow." She shook her paw around trying to make the pain go away.

"I suppose I might need help." Zola had no knowledge or interest in healing properties. If she would have wandered off to find her own stuff, she may have taken something poisonous and died. Well, the cut wasn't that bad anyway and would have just healed by itself. She was just being a big baby.

With a dip of her head she turned to leave. After all if the lady didn't want her help she wasn't going to force it upon her. To do so would only engender the fury of the stranger as most had been wont to do in the tales she'd heard during her first months of life when the story tellers of the pack wove the magic of words with their silver and gilded tongues. Whether they were true or not, in part or in whole still had given to she and her siblings and all those within he natal pack a lesson. To be careful of strangers and not to force anything on them they didn't ask for, whether they were polite about it or not.

When she lifted her head to look back at the one unknown to her eyes widened. The lady closer than she'd thought and not only that, she asked for her assistance. Well perhaps ask was too polite a term.

Turning around she placed her right paw forward. "Show me the pad. If it's not too bad it may just need a few licks. But even little wounds can turn bad by turning a puffy red with smelly oozing pus. Lamb's ear and trillium would be best." Of course she'd need to find them if she were to apply anything. But having someone look could at least be part of a preventative measure she thought. And better yet to make sure the wound wasn't dirty otherwise it really could go bad. The quickest way to be rid of an infection then she thought was to gnaw off the affected limb if naught else could be done, otherwise death would surely follow as the infection made its way throughout the body. How that happened she hadn't a clue only that she'd heard tales of it and didn't wish it on anyone, even a rude individual.

Zola narrowed her eyes at the girl, much younger than she but knew so much more knowledge. Zola used her skills for other, more exciting things than healing and friends. "Well, okay." She reached her paw out to the woman, "But don't even think about licking it. I can do that fine myself." She didn't want the stranger putting her tongue on her. Maybe if she were a male she would have allowed it.

Zola was especial rude to females. She had a knack to seduction and it wasn't all fake. She enjoyed their touch and their attention. It was something she craved. But finding herself a friend? Especially a "girl" friend? No, that wasn't her forte. And she would keep it that way. A sassy woman indeed.

"And where do you suppose we get that?"

She dipped her head in a nod to the words the older she-wolf uttered. "That's fine. We all have our preferences in regards to how we liked to be cared for. Its the healers themselves that don't like anyone else taking care of them even when they're old and beyond their abilities." She said in way of small conversation as she lowered her head to peer at the paw.

"It doesn't look like you cut it too deep. Giving it a few licks and resting for the rest of the day should be good enough." And a good thing too since she didn't really have any stores and thus it would be difficult to find anything in winter. "Still keep an eye on it every day for three sunrises to be sure that there's nothing wrong with it and to make sure the cut hasn't somehow deepened further."

If it did get infected or worse she'd need to find someone more knowledgeable of where to find the aforementioned healing plants.

"Well, I'm no healer lady." In Zola's eyes, it was all sissy stuff. She always got by with letting stuff heal on it's own but there would be one time in her life that should would be in desperate need of their abilities. She would probably find herself in grave danger and without anyone who would be willing to help her wicked self. She would drive everyone off to refuse to give her the medical attention she needed because she treated them all like shit.

She would drop her paw back to the ground, her pain just being exaggerated and it may have been public now. "I guess it will be fine. It's not that awful." Zola wasn't very fond of other women, and her attitude was definitely one to show for it. But she didn't care. She wasn't out to make friends.
