Karabela had strayed a little ways outside of Ivory Ridge's borders but not to far, just out into the neighboring rock garden where she could take in the warm, noonday sun of another lovely spring day. She was grateful for the slow warming of the weather and didn't mind at all that there were dark clouds hovering to the north, threatening a rain storm. They could do with the moisture after the terrible dry spell the lands had been suffering. Leaping onto one of the larger rocks she stretched herself out, atop it, sighing at the warmth under her belly. Between the warmth on her stomach and on her back from the rays of the sun and the lazy humming of insects Karabela found herself drifting swiftly off to sleep.
