Auster was cold, a relentless rain coming down around the island. Cold rain. Winter rain. It was that, combined with the fog, that pushed the shadow elsewhere. It was not safe for a man of his stature. Sure, he could run, but he could only run so far when he was entirely and completely alone. He could only make it so far before being absolutely torn apart by a group that outnumbered him. That was a problem, of course. Just that unknown factor... it was hard for him to be alone. It was so incredibly hard, so he moved for greener shores. The island was between here and there, it seemed only like a logical place for Poser to stop. He was transient. It sucked. He was ready to take back his castle and go home, but that hadn't been an option. Not with things as they'd been. All of his friends, all of the ones who'd made him feel at home, the hop for his future... they weren't here. They'd gone away, they'd moved on. Poser was the only one who truly remained. He moves through dusk on Ibon Isle, feeling lighter somehow. He's a shadow against the fading sunlight, healthy and vibrant, but strange looking. Everyone was bigger, but he was faster and never scared. Far easier this way. With a gentle stretch on the shore, Poser turns inward to look for dinner. Today would be okay. poser breathy way of saying my name |
