She sighed her eyes looking up to the full moon. She felt so crappy lately and was unsure how to fix herself. Since Razor had died she had no idea what to do with herself and since he was the closest thing to a father she had now she was feeling ill from her emotions. The only other one in the pack she was familiar with enough to go to was the alpha. She wouldn't bother him because she felt he was way too busy. She felt like she hadn't slept well in forever and she hadn't even been sleeping in the original den anymore. She was depressed and just didn't know what to do anymore.

She pulled herself to her feet deciding she had to go do something instead of siting around and moping all evening. She picked up her pace and headed forward. She had no particular destination, but she felt she just needed to get away from the pack for a while. Maybe she'll even find a new friend.

Kai had wandered further to the east half of the continent, finding himself less thrilled with the western lands. The heat of summer made the drier lands hard for him to bear, the sun beating down on his dark coat often made traveling during the day a bit of a chore. Though he'd moved to slightly more humid lands, he still found the day uncomfortable at times. Today he'd rested during the brighter hours, slinking out into the darkness once the moon shone high in the sky. It gave him enough illumination to travel easily, and he was comfortable in the coolness of the night.

Despite the fact that it was the middle of the night, the scent of a stranger caught his interest. He'd caught on to his father's friendly demeanor from an early age, and he only craved the company of other wolves more as he got older. This one had a pack's scent, though he was certain he wasn't intruding on claimed lands. He wondered why someone might be out at this hour and not home, especially if they weren't a rogue. Brows furrowing, he trailed after the scent, stopping a fair distance away when he caught sight of the stranger's silhouette near the bubbling springs, letting out a friendly bark in greeting to her.
