So she may have been overly excited, but she definitely wasn't oblivious to that sigh and when Finch left. It made Vali feel immediately bad - and selfish. With everything settled with the boy, Vali then set out to find Finch; she wanted to apologize to the girl for basically just stealing the conversation and then in a way, kicking her out of it. It was rude, uncalled for, and it made the older woman feel really, really bad.

"Finch?" she called quietly, trying to find the white and tan girl. She definitely wanted to apologize before the day was out; it was important for her to do so... and while she was at it, perhaps she could do something with Finch to make up for it - do something with her, help her out with something, anything, really.
