Her tracking had led her right to the pack borders this morning, making her a bit depressed. She couldn't leave the borders so instead of continuing to fallow the trail she sat back on her rump and sighed. It was disappointing that she couldn't continue on the trail, but it was her fault that she couldn't, which meant she would only have to work harder. She was determined to not slack ever again, work her butt off constantly. It was the only thing she could do because she wanted to still survive within the pack. It was her home and her family.

Huffing she looked around and jumped up trotting over to a decent rock and attempting to pick it up. It wouldn't budge right away so the female used her paws to dig around it so she could get it out of the ground. She then carried it over to the borders and put it on the border mark. Regulus had mentioned this at the meeting so she decided to break from tracking and do something different. She tried to find decent sized rocks to put on the borders and most of the time she would have to dig them out of the ground. Some of them she even had to push with her nose, but she made out well.

He had found a border this morning and he was intrigued. There was stone's here and there in a line and he was back from it enough to not disturb those inside. Juju had been left in charge of the kids so he didn't think it would hurt to figure this out. He stayed quiet and out of immediate lines of site. He was an alpha that trusted no one but his own, he might not have a permanent home but he was a leader through and through. His mint eyes watched as a female arrived at the border and his ears pressed back. Males were predictable to him but females were usually less so. Or at least in his experience. He moved to lay down in the bush he was in. His head and shoulders would be the only thing she would see if she looked. He was more interested in what she was doing, she was laying a few stone's and he watched silently. He was aware his scent might give him away but a tailess and scarred up lone male shouldn't cause too much of a problem. Plus he was on the right side of the border, almost 15 feet away from it. He might be taken for a spy but he wouldn't let them take him prisoner for it. Adults were cruel, it was something he was aware of and didn't ever need reminders of. His scars that hid beneath his fur were proof enough of that. Dag be damned if he ever forgot.

She was currently in the territory digging out another rock. She was working the whole way around the rock, digging the dirt around the boulder to get it out of the earth so she could move it. Once she felt she did a good job she took her front to paws and tried to push it free from it's spot. It came free easily with one push. Wagging her tail she began to push it with her nose towards the border were it would become it's new home. It wasn't a far walk, but when she neared the boarder a scent reached her nose. Being a skilled tracker the women was easy to pick the odd scent out of the surroundings. It made her stop and huff before taking in the scent more. Her eyes scanned the surrounding territory until they zeroed on on shoulders and a head within the bushes.

"Hello there!" she calmly called.

Her tail gently wagged in a friendly greeting to the stranger, who was respectfully keeping his distance from the borders. Hopefully this meant that the boulders were working. He didn't seem to be a threat so far so she felt there was no reason to be anything but nice to the other.
