Ruthgar was finally beginning to feel like he belonged somewhere; The Crew was nothing but a band of trouble-makers and drunkards, which was perfect for the scarred man who, in truth, had no real talents to speak of other than getting outrageously drunk and shit-stirring. The fact that shit stirring was part of the Crew’s very culture had taken him to the top of a great waterfall, deep into the territory of another pack. So far no one seemed to have noticed him and while just being in another pack’s land was an achievement in itself Ruthgar felt it was his duty to take it a step further. He stood over the falls taking in the view as the sun began to sink behind him and took a deep, breath, feeling the wind whip through his silky fur as he closed his eyes. This place was beautiful really. It was just too bad the wolves that lived there were, in Chaos's words: "Boring" and, in his own words; “Mighty shites.” Satisfied, he turned, lifted his leg, and took a piss, the yellow stream falling directly into the river as it flowed over the mountain side.

This is him talking

Lionel was slowly beginning to crawl out of the hole he'd dug himself. The talk with his father had helped and he was beginning to realize he needed to move forward with his life. Besides, how could he be Heather's rock if he was falling to pieces himself. He had to be strong for his family and it'd been a while since he'd felt like he'd been productive. So he'd spent the majority of his day patrolling the border. With the snows beginning to pile up it'd taken longer than he'd expected and he was tired and wet by the time he finished. Hunting seemed out of the question, he was too tired, so he was just about to turn in for the night when a foreign scent caught his attention.

What was strange about it was it was a spot he'd patrolled earlier in the day and it definitely hadn't been there before. His nose wrinkled at the pack scent covering the masculine scent and he followed it. It was pack scent but it wasn't Fiori. His pace was quick as he tracked it to the falls and the sight that met him was confusing as well as something that he found angered him. Originally he would have taken what he assumed would be Leo's course of action - question the man to see if he was even aware that he was breaking the rules, but the man's actions clearly stated that he knew what he was doing. The fact that he was pissing in their river angered him. What on earth did he think he was doing?

"You need to leave, now." He gave the warning calmly enough, but his voice was stern as he approached and stopped a good five feet away. His tail and head were raised high and his muscles were taut as he stood his ground. He didn't want to get into a fight with the stranger but he wasn't about to let anyone traipse past Fiori's borders either thinking they could get away with it.

The princess had been wandering around the lands for some time now. Her mind muddled with the thoughts of death and peace, murder and more. Something she didn't entirely think of usually but seeing Alfred in the state he'd been in had made her feel very strange. Her paws pushed into the ground of the falls. She was returning to her usual thinking spot, before something bad happened but her nose had already caught something rather distressing. It was her brother, but with that was mingled another PACK scent. A rogue was one thing, but a pack wolf was another. Quickly the princess let her lip raise, first of all she raised her head in a call. For the pack for even her father. She knew she couldn't out right attack the stranger - that being he was someone else's repsonsibility.

Heather bolted outright towards the two. Once he was within sight, the female indeed did try to get as close as possible to the male. "Get out." she let her hackles raise and she knew this might be a mistake. But she wasn't going to go off letting others think Fiori was weak. Her eyes dialated and adrenaline pumped through her veins. She could hear it in her ears as her tail raised high. Perhaps getting in Ruth's face wasn't a good idea, but her furious expression was serious. He'd tainted her precious falls and worst of all it was practically an act of war - hopefully the alpha of this said pack knew that. She let a growl rip through her throat threateningly. Her muscles spring locked ready if he decided to assault her.

Leo as Heather's father is free to crash her threads as he see's fit. Lionel as her close brother is also allowed to do the same.
Heather has boderline personality disorder in the event of extreme stress she can become aggressive and gloomy with no filter but will have no memory of these episodes after.

He looked between his raised leg at what was no doubt a wolf from the pack he had trespassed in and let out a merry “Top O’ th’ Marning tae ye sir!” He greeted with a slight slur, his eyes on the red male and all but dismissing the female.  He couldn’t really try and pass off that he was looking for the bandit Hewart Jass this time having been caught pissing in their river, which left him falling back on the carefully planned deception he had come up with before arriving; acting drunk. He lowered his leg slightly, teetering on his remaining three paws before lifting it again, and continuing to lift it until he tipped over and fell into the snow with a soft “plop”. He remained still for a moment before rocking himself from side to side like a turtle stuck on its back in the snow either attempting to either roll onto his paws or just wiggle around like a happy slug in the snow. He didn’t reek of alcohol like he had the morning after the festival when his paws were locked around a raccoon, but the scent of yeast and barely did roll faintly off of his fur from the swig of liquid courage he had convinced Kassander to give him.

He arched his back to look at the female his tongue lulling out of the side of his mouth and hanging over his muzzle in a dazed sort of grin, his tail smacking against the snow in a straight vertical line. If they didn’t think he was under some kind of influence they would hopefully believe that he hadn’t been fully aware of what he had been doing when he crossed into the territory.

"Speech"

Leo would be the first to admit that he had been doing few patrols than he normally did. For a long time, especially after the bear attack, he had been hyper vigilant of Fiori's borders. However, ever since he began to grow closer to Carletta and ever since he had been forcing himself to focus more on his family he had eased back on his patrols. He had comforted himself with the knowledge that Heather and Lionel had both taken on some of the duty, but perhaps he shouldn't have let himself relax.

The man's scent caught his attention, the pack scent intermingling with his own reminding him of the tusked man that had visited a while ago. He hadn't been sure of the man then and now he was beginning to question the pack in its entirety. It was a shame because he had quite liked Chaos' predecessor. He hurried toward the stranger and saw his children had arrived ahead of him. He came to stand between Lionel and Heather with his hackles bristling just in time to hear the man greet them in some slurred, accented tone. Leo didn't know what this man was playing at, but whether he was legitimately impaired or just plain dumb there was no excuse for another pack wolf to be on his territory. "Leave," was his simple command with a growl to his voice, his tail high and stance leaving to question that he was the leader here.

The male spoke (was it really speaking?) and Lionel had to admit to himself that he barely understood the male. He understood something about top and something about the morning. Was he trying to say good morning? "Maybe for you." He said as his ivory ears flattened against his head. No, now his morning was filled with annoyance and irritation over the fact that his routine had been interrupted.

Heather arrived soon after him and while he stood a decent distance away Heather wasted no time in getting in the intruders face. He shifted uneasily and his hackles raised automatically as a nervous growl left him. "Heather..." He warned silently. It made him uneasy to see his sibling so close to the male. What if he attacked her? A tumble down the falls would be devastating and the thought of Heather getting hurt only made him more angry with this stranger that smelled of another pack. Out of all the places he could have wandered in did it really have to be Fiori?

The male's actions weren't entirely helpful either as he toppled over like he had no balance whatsoever. Was he a bit dull in the head? He wasn't familiar with anything that would make a wolf act like that whatsoever and another glance was given towards Heather to see if she believed what she was seeing. It helped ease his nerves a bit when Leo arrived and told the man to leave. That was the third time now that he'd been told to get out and judging from Heather's actions, Lionel doubted that he'd be given another opportunity to leave with his face intact.

Heather backed up a bit, confused for a moment as to the male's... behavior. Raising an eyebrow as she exchanged a glance to her brother who worriedly said her name. She was fine really, what kind of fool attacked somebody on pack lands anyway. It didn't matter, her father had arrived and Heather was more or less confused as to what... or how this wolf was acting as he was. Her toes spreading as she pouted a bit more, she'd wanted a fight - this sucked.

"Go away if you wanna keep your tail." she snorted. Hopefully at least THAT was enough for him to comprehend. She kept herself rigid though, she wasn't too far from the intruder. Her eyes ablaze, his scent flaring into her nostrils. Her tail lashing from side to side as she waited. Not much longer she just had to keep thinking.

“Aye aye, ahm goin’” He said idly, walking in a serpentine lope back toward the border, his tail swishing carelessly behind him. He did after all need to keep up the act, if they had known he was fully aware of his actions they might not have been so gracious as to give him a warning. He wondered giddily what Chaos would say when he crowed about this coup in particular. He could almost hear the alpha’s hissing laughter as he learned that the snotty wolves on the falls had been too proud to attack him and instead let him go without a scratch. Once he had reached a far enough distance he fell into a full-bodied sprint, heading north back to the Maw. He hoped that Chaos recognized his efforts to act as an example for what an exemplary member of the Crew was, but only time would tell. He had noticed that he was beginning to see less and less of the male and he was beginning to feel concerned, but then it didn’t take much to rattle his nerves, so he simply ignored it.
