Silent Streams

Months had passed since she came into contact with another living being of her species. In the farthest reaches of her mind, it was concerning, but the part of her that had no desire for socializing was rather contented. These lands were quiet. Blanketed with snow and bitten with an icy chill that numbed her toes as they lightly flirted with the lacing streams. Silence wasn't quite the issue, perhaps. Maybe it was just the annoying buzz in her ears as she wondered about with no destination in mind. Boredom could be a contributing factor as well. Nonetheless the silence drove her to making small disturbances in the snow and water edges. Craving for something new to confront her ears.
Letting out a hot breath the cool air clashed with the temperature difference and gave expression to a large cloud that soon dismissed itself as it calmly disappeared. In the end, she decided she might as well come to a stop and gather her bearings. Not that she knew where in the world she was. Coming to a pause her back legs came forward as her hind end fell back, settling itself on the cold earth with a muffled crunch from the snow. "Mutter would get a high amount of amusement from this...Not once have you not known what to do with yourself. Yet, here you are, sitting who knows where." Her whispered words, riddled with foreign tones, gave off the air of exasperation. Flickering her ears, she tried her best to pick up any shift. Again she was met with that shrill silence.
Was this land too going to give her nothing? Shaking herself out, the pendent around her throat thrashing in a delayed imitation of the motion, Aldegund picked herself up again. Once more beginning her walk through the woods. Seeking out anything that would catch her interest.

Traveling, for Alina, was not the best idea. She had wound up in some sort of forest, and now she had found herself lost. Well, she supposed she was lost. She was practically stumbling around, stumbling over everything and growing annoyed. She hated the fact that she had headed here, with the fact that she couldn't even see where she was going. The scent of another wolf caught her attention and she moved towards it, ears perking as she noticed the sounds of the wolf moving closer. Had they been still? Quietly, she called out towards the wolf, hoping that the other would help her get out of here. "Hey, do you know how to get out of here?"
