One Good Reason Why

He'd finished tailing his mom for the day. He'd gone with her for an early morning patrol and after it was through he was more than happy for the free time. As much as he loved following Faite and learning from her he still liked indulging himself in childlike behavior. After all they'd barely turned a year old and he was more than up for a little fun. He was still reluctant to leave the pack borders with everything that had happened so he stuck around inside the valley. Even though they were a year old now it still felt kind of forbidden to leave without someone. He padded around trying to find something to do when something cold and wet fell on his nose. His eyes kind of crossed towards his snout and he grinned when he noticed a snowflake resting on it before it melted. Bi-colored eyes traveled towards the gray sky as the realization that it was snowing again hit him. A grin tugged at his lips as he bounded around in the older layers of snow and kicked up his legs behind him to send snow flying around everywhere.
