She had arrived back in Boreas with the hope that she had completed a fair bit of her journey. Green orbs stared blankly across the field, so far North that slush and snow still clung desperately to the ground despite the Spring. Bridget welcomed the cold of the land like an old friend. She was breathing in deep, frosty breaths as she tried to clear her thoughts. She was calm in that moment, deathly calm. There was no one she had to fear. That wasn't to say she didn't make enemies and stir shit up though.
Her eyes lifted skyward, reckoning she had about an hour left before the last of the day's light practically vanished and was swallowed by the night. It was a comforting thought, that darkness. With the faintest of smiles playing upon her lips she began to pad onward, heading in the direction that would inevitably lead her deeper into Boreas. Who knew? Maybe she'd even swing by Fiori to see how her family was holding up there. A bit of guilt gnawed at her for leaving them but... What was done was done.
