Things within Fiori were quiet. Things had slowed to a lull as a shift in leadership took place. But Carletta didn't fault the new Queen for this. No... It was as if Fiori had drifted to sleep and now needed to be stirred awake once more. Truthfully she didn't mind it being quiet. She was a lazy femme by nature but knew that things couldn't go on that way forever. An idle pack was not good... But before she'd go seeking out Bluemoon again she wanted to see one wolf in particular. A wolf whom was likely enjoying a morning where he could sleep in.

When Car got to Leo's den she paused, eyes twinkling with delight. Whenever she was near Leo her heart began to race and she just felt happier in general. There had been times when she was down and the arrival of his presence chased all the dark clouds away. She could feel her tail wagging behind her as she glanced into the dim light of the den. "Morning! There is enough beauty sleep for you, right?" A laugh escaped her. Her English was coming along so well... That too made her happy.

"Come out Leo~" The femme said in a sing song voice. Any time spent with the male was never wasted... He was all she ever wanted.

It didn't seem to matter that he was officially retired in a sense and had no reason to be up early. He had been getting up early for years now. His brain wouldn't let him do any different. It wasn't so bad though. His patrols were a bit more leasirely now and he could nap if he wanted in the afternoon. Secretly he really just wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of for Heather. She was doing a fine job so far and Leo had all the faith in her... but giving her a hand with patrols and keeping an eye on things gave him something to do and made him feel better.

He was making his way back toward his den just from lack of anything else to do and he just so happened to arrive just in time to see Carletta poking her head into the den and calling for him. He grinned with mischief and creeped up behind her before she turned back around. "Boo!" He called as he lifted his forepaw and tapped her on the hip. He hopped back out of the way with a chuckle and a grin, his tail wagging a mile a minute. Something about her just made him feel so young again and made his heart soar. He was excited to have the free time to spend with her now and really get to enjoy being with her like he wanted to.
