Crazy in love
As his mate Azariah is allowed in any and all of Lucifer's threads. Unless stated otherwise Lucifer is assumed to be accompanied by his companion, a Wolverine named Noctis.
'Cause I'm thirsty for your love, There was an odd pang of regret at having goaded Lucifer into taking her hunting with him. It was hard for her to leave the little ones behind, even if she knew they would be safe. There were several moments in the beginning of the trip when she had to be physically removed from her statuesque position, caught frozen and unwilling to move away from her demons any further. It was for her own good, and for theirs, but she couldn't help the feeling that there would be something wrong when she returned. As if they would all perish without her. It was something of a point of pride for her, that she had bonded so strongly with her pups that she was willing to stay out of shape in order to be around them. Lucifer had given her enough incentive, in the form of Kaitlyn and her betrayal, and the fact that the pups would need to be fed. She had tailored herself to him, and as such she followed him without question, and ultimately agreed to follow without a fuss. There was also that part of her that understood the need to leave them, and it was this part that took control once the scent of elk caught her nose. Growling softly, the dark witch moved forward on deathly silent paws, stalking about ten yards before she settled and watched the herd, scanning for any target that would be relatively easy to handle. Her dusty rose gaze looked over the herd, watching one cow in particular as she limped with a calf by her side. Vi decided that she would be a good one to keep in mind, but the calf would mean a hormonal and therefore unpredictable mother. With a soft sigh, she motions to Lucifer to take a place down at one end of the elk herd. She would take the other and weed out the piece of meat she wanted. She would drive her pick down toward Lucifer's waiting jaws, weakening the creature the entire run. Once she was sure Lucifer got her meaning, she turned and kept her body low and her nose to the wind. Always she avoided being upwind of the herd, though her silent paw steps halted when she finally spotted her target. It was an old cow, well fed but, like the other female, she was limping. Vianni could see the swollen joints that meant arthritis and smiled. Perfection, I may even get the chance to bring the old bat down myself. She thought and sank to the ground, watching the lightly colored beast as she grazed her way down toward Lucifer. My life ain't nothing but this carnival of rust |
