A smirk crossed his lips as he dared to move towards a border. It was time to see exactly who he was dealing with in these parts. He didn't hide himself, he was sure gabe noticed the absence of him last night as he made his decisions. His children would need a steady home eventually and a place where his brothers and sisters wouldn't dare go. He didn't want them harmed or ostracized anymore than they had to be. They wouldn't fit into a normal pack society though, he knew that from the day he saw them born. He would have to take a pack or make one, it wouldn't be easy to do nor would keeping it be easy.

He padded closer until he stood on the border. His nose lowered and he took a whiff. The scent was familiar. Like the long haired male from before. His eyes lifted. Well then this could be interesting. There was another scent under his though. Female, and smelled like she might be his alphess. He Stretched in a languid manner, wearing his best debonair smirk. He did a once over of his pelt to make sure he looked his best. Then he sat and waited. They were likely to come this way eventually. There was no need to call them since he was here for matters that pertained more to politics and his brother than anything else.

The habit of going on patrols was becoming more of a welcome break and less of a chore. Her patrols were typically quiet and uneventful so it gave her time to process and think. Sometimes that wasn't a helpful thing when her mind spiraled out of control with her concerns and worries, but on days like today the silence was welcome. Abbey settled onto a tree branch above her, making the leaves shuffle against each other for a moment. She gave the cardinal a quick glance before fixing her gaze back on the well traveled path along the pack's border. Besides the occasional pause to freshen up the scent markers, Roza kept a pretty steady pace and let the sound of the breeze ruffling the foliage keep her mind at ease.

An unfamiliar scent caught her attention and broke her out of her steady calm. She hesitated for a moment, bringing her gaze up from the ground in front of her. She didn't recognize the man sitting at the border in the distance, but she took a bit of comfort from the fact that his scent had no resemblance to Ganta or his brother. Of course she had no way of knowing if Ganta's siblings had followers that might be sent here by them, but she liked to assume positive intent from everyone before she thought otherwise.

She carefully kept a safe distance from the stranger either way and made her way to stand across from him on her side of the pack's border. "Hello," she said simply, giving him a curious look. Her tone was not unkind, but it was more suspicious than not. "My name is Roza. I'm one of the leaders here. Is there something I can help you with?" She heard Abbey settle in a tree just above her head, letting out a chirp as if to say that she was there and ready to go for help if need be.

ooc. writing this as though Gabriel was there the whole time but don't worry about changing any posts

Catching the scent of his wandering brother near the borders of an unfamiliar pack, the male found himself following the trail. Slow and cautious steps pulled the titan forth, as he sought out his Fallen sibling. It wasn't long before he found Samael, seated calmly near the borders. Confidence bled from every pore. White pointed brow would quirk, and the male sniffed cautiously. This was not the largest pack in the area, but it was certainly formidable. What was Samael planning? Lord, he hoped his brother wasn't planning a takeover.

"Lucifer," warning tone would escape his maw. "what are you planning?" Drawing up near his brother, he would take a moment to seek out any approaching forms. The distinct sound of delicate paws upon the terrain drew his attention. Quizzical expression would twist chiselled features as a female approached. Crown would rise, posture shifting into that of a messenger. Gabriel was still the left hand of the Lord, and he would be sure to convey that. The queen did not come close, possibly for fear of Samael and his mercurial demeanour. "Hello," she said. Her voice was very soft and pleasing to the ears. Yet the golden male did not doubt her status. The way her syllables were drawn out, they spoke of wariness. Smart girl. "My name is Roza. I'm one of the leaders here. Is there something I can help you with?" Something was moving in the trees overhead.

Leaning over, he would extend his muzzle towards his brother. The aim was to whisper in his ear, or close enough. "There is something in the trees, it may be allied with the queen." He warned. It would be unwise to let another lay harm to his brother, despite the creed of his family insisting that be the case. Shifting to stand just a little ways away, on the right of his brother, his attention would turn in the direction of the queen. He would wait for Samael to speak, until he knew that his plan was. Then, he would make his own decision.

I'M CALLING YOU FROM THE FUTURE

TO LET YOU KNOW WE MADE A MISTAKE

Samael, as Gabriel's brother/stalker, will likely be making appearances in any/all of his threads to distantly stare at his interactions. Just an FYI.

**Also, his face is heavily scarred on the left side, none of his tables reflect this yet. Missing fur on the cheek, below the eye, and scars across the bridge of his muzzle and down his neck.

Ganta caught their scent… though not soon enough. By the time he’d arrived Roza was already on the scene with two males… one of whom Ganta recognized. His ears flicked back with a bit of uncertainty… What were they doing here? His gaze flickered to the one he knew, narrowing his eyes a little bit. The last time he saw him was the day Philly was taken… though he knew it was wrong to pass judgement on someone for that reason alone. He hadn’t been involved in it… right? “Gentleman… I see you’ve met my mate… how can we help you?”

Gabe wasn't far behind him and when he whispered in Sam's ear Sam sent him a chuckle. He would see, there was no need to ruin the surprise right now. in fact he would find out eventually what Sam was about to do.

He turned his attention then to the sound of approach. Likely a knight or the young man. After all he had smelled children on him last time. Though who approached was a young female and he gave a good whiff. She smelled heavily of the male and children so likely his bride. It didn't take a genius to figure it out. She was wary he could hear it and even see it from the way she had distanced herself. Smart enough but he kind of had to remind himself why most feared him. HE was evil according to Abba and needed to be put down. "Greetings Miss Roza. I assume you are wed to the young man i met with golden locks as you are his queen and smell of his children though only one child clings to your pelt....." he trailed off. Something may have happened. Had the man that the golden haired man been looking for not been found then? strange. Though he did keep it in the back of his mind, as Gabriel was the best tracker he knew. It was Gabe's advantage.

then not a moment too late the young alpha appeared. He dipped his head to him and gave a smile. Gabe's comment was heard but he did not react more than looking to the place his brother seemed to have focused on before. He did look back to Gabe though just to be certain before looking to the alpha pair. "Samael Morningstar, and this is one of my brothers, Gabriel Morningstar. To be honest though i am not sure you can help me though I owe it to many to try. I seek to become familiar with the packs around these lands so that when the time comes and i raise my own I shall know who I can see as allies and friends." He hadn't told Gabe his plans yet but he was sure he would get an earful later for this. He watched the pair to await their political face. To know if they were even open to negotiate terms of cooperation with him.

Her brows rose with a bit of surprise when one of the men described Ganta with the assumption that Ganta was her husband. She couldn't help the way her ears flicked back for a brief second when he mentioned the fact that only Ulric's scent was lingering on her fur. She was at a loss for words for a moment before she finally responded with a small nod. "Yes, you are correct in your assumptions." He didn't seem rude or to have any ill intent from her first observations, but after her run in with Ganta's brother she had learned to not trust anyone from first impressions.

Roza admittedly relieved when Ganta came to join her at the border. She wanted to be confident in her own skills as a leader and protector of their pack, but her skills in fighting were not developed to say the least. Having her mate by her side made her feel more at ease as she examined the two men standing across from them. She grew more interested when he mentioned his intentions to create his own pack and to find out who his allies could be beforehand. Roza couldn't say that she wasn't impressed with the idea. She had learned from watching her father rule that having friends in other packs was a comforting and helpful thing.

She glanced toward Ganta as she spoke, but kept her gaze on the pair for the most part. "I'm not one to turn away potential friendships," she responded with a slight smile. Ganta might feel differently, but in a world where her own children's family wished them harm she looked for help wherever they could find it. "Of course we hardly know each other as of now, but I see no reason to not explore the idea of an alliance in the future."

Ganta listened to the man as he spoke, his ears twitching a little. Samael and Gabriel… he made sure to tuck those names into his head. He was honestly a bit surprised to hear that the larger man wanted to form a pack of his own… It left Ganta with mixed feelings. This man surely had to remember the day they met, right? Something about that struck Ganta hard. This man might even, if only faintly, know Philomena’s scent. It gave him a bit of hope… that maybe someone out there might still find their little girl.

“I’m not opposed to the idea of learning a bit more of each other, and perhaps forming an alliance. However…” Ganta’s gaze fixed on Samael. “In fact… I’d be more than happy to grant you an alliance and friendship if you can do but one thing on our behalf.” The male glanced towards his mate and then spoke on. This might have been risky… but Ganta was going with his gut on this one.

“If you can keep an eye and ear out for our missing daughter it’d be much appreciated. She’s got tans and browns that make up her coat, a long flowing mane and the brightest blue eyes…” The man furrowed his brow. “She was taken by my brother… an offwhite male with scars… a missing eye and the other one golden.” He paused, closing his eyes.

“We just want our little girl to come home… and I met you the day she was taken. Do you… remember her scent at all…?” Ganta’s voice cracked a little, pain within it. It felt like so long ago that they last saw Philly...was she alright? Was she happy where she was? He didn’t know… and that scared him.

Samael didn't speak. At least not to him, nor did he make any move to acknowledge his warning of the creature in the trees. "Greetings Miss Roza. I assume you are wed to the young man i met with golden locks as you are his queen and smell of his children though only one child clings to your pelt....." The crude way he made the statement, alluding to a missing child, had the herald taken aback. "Lucifer!" he hissed, paw aiming to smack him none to gently upon the shoulder closest to him. It was impolite, and quite horrible, to mention what was causing distress without any respect. "Yes, you are correct in your assumptions." The lady said, calmly, to her benefit.

Another appeared on the scene, given away by the confidence of his strides and the scent of his musk. Alabaster auds would swivel to better hear his approach. This must be another of the leaders here. “Gentleman… I see you’ve met my mate… how can we help you?” The king said, unease barely evident in his voice. The golden titan tried to remain stoic, puzzling out the scene and hoping Samael would reveal his plot soon. "Samael Morningstar, and this is one of my brothers, Gabriel Morningstar." The herald dipped his head politely when he was brought up, posture rather neutral. "Good sir, lady." He rumbled respectfully to each of them. "To be honest though I am not sure you can help me though I owe it to many to try. I seek to become familiar with the packs around these lands so that when the time comes and I raise my own I shall know who I can see as allies and friends." So this was his brother's ploy? Interesting. Surely the Lord would be deeply upset about this, and seek to bring the pack down quickly. Would he be forced to destroy his brother's pride once more? The thought brought anxiety to squeeze at his heart.

For a moment, it seemed no one wanted to speak. Then, the queen spoke up. "I'm not one to turn away potential friendships," She replied. Praise the Lord, perhaps Samael wasn't doomed after all. He would hate to see his brother lose everything again, but with allies in his future, perhaps he wouldn't have to. "Of course we hardly know each other as of now, but I see no reason to not explore the idea of an alliance in the future." She continued. Fair point, indeed. Then, the king spoke. “I’m not opposed to the idea of learning a bit more of each other, and perhaps forming an alliance. However…” Oh no, this could make things complicated. The pause was brief, and then Ganta spoke again. “In fact… I’d be more than happy to grant you an alliance and friendship if you can do but one thing on our behalf.” Many wolves wanted things from them in the past, and the titan was interested to learn what these two might seek from them.

“If you can keep an eye and ear out for our missing daughter it’d be much appreciated. She’s got tans and browns that make up her coat, a long flowing mane and the brightest blue eyes…” The description meant nothing to Gabriel, really. Granted, the faint and previously unknown swishing sound associated with the king could have been a mane. He had never really encountered such things before, so he wasn't entirely certain. Regardless, he continued to lend his attention to the king. “She was taken by my brother… an offwhite male with scars… a missing eye and the other one golden.” Either he was becoming quite good at making up for his disability, or they were not interested in his help. Being babied and infantilized was the worst, but he didn't appreciate being ignored either.

“We just want our little girl to come home… and I met you the day she was taken. Do you… remember her scent at all…?” This must have been directed at Samael. The herald had never met this man in his life before. "Pardon me for interrupting, sir, but did you perhaps have anything she used frequently? I'm afraid physical descriptions are useless to me," He said with a light chuckle, pupilless gaze raised so that perhaps they might recognize why. "however, I have had success tracking scents in the past." Tail swished lightly across his heels, only the tintiest bit awkward after having to reveal himself as blind.
