I got crabs

With a cheery squeal Kanja pounced after a large ghost crab. By crab standards it was rather tiny, but by ghost crab standards it was huge. In any case, the little pepper flecked crab was a tasty mouthful. The giantess had been catching and eating ghost crabs for the better part of an hour. Sure, there were faster ways to get a meal, but this way was fun! And not without its risks either, as the feisty critters were capable of pinching. Dinner and a show.

She'd just made her way back from Alias Island and instead of moving further inland and seeking out a den, Kanja had decided to spend the evening on the shore. It was then as the sun was beginning to set, that she discovered the crabs and oh, what treats they were!

Success! Kanja snatched up the little crab and quickly crunched it to pieces before it had a chance to pinch her lips. She then dropped it and sifted through the broken pieces of shell for meat. The meager chunks were quickly hoovered up and in seconds the tiny carcass was picked clean. Kanja eyed the shell regretfully. It was gone far too soon.

Oh, well. There was more where that came from.
