Her conscious calls the guilty to come home

Her mother had officially lost it. The massive rainbow child had refused to return to the family den after seeing the changes in her mother... And it even seemed that she was affecting Chasm. Nova felt more distant from them all than ever. Her mama... Didn't she care about them anymore? Why had she snapped at her big brother? Why were Argy and Ochitsu still missing? Her feelings hurt... And Nova realized she was angry with her mother. She was letting all of them down... But what had they done wrong? Nova flicked her ears back and gave a bitter sniff. It wasn't fair!
Did their mama hate them? Was it because they didn't have a papa? The femme sighed, shifting in the makeshift den she had claimed for herself in the plains. It was a bit small but... Nova shook her head. If her mama wanted to hate them then fine! They could still band together as siblings, right? The girl tilted her head back to call for Adore, Azazel, Chasm, and Bones. They needed to have a family meeting about their mother... And she was going to be the one to hold it.

He was lost, ever since his mother had turned on him.He was confused, worried, and wasn't sure what to do from here. Though he was still trying to care for his siblings, he couldn't help but become slightly distant to them. He hated that he did, but he was trying to keep himself from making things worse. He wasn't sure what all this stress would do to him and he didn't want to traumatize his siblings more then they already were. He just tried to focus on taking care of them. Nova had taken up another den, Bones had found it and the others that were left he kept tabs on making sure they were well fed.
He was just about to go back out hunting again when his ears caught his little sisters howl. She was calling him and what was left of the rest of the siblings together. Ears perked distracted with wondering what she may be calling them together for. It wasn't a thought that it would be about their mother. He looked to Bones and made a motion to head to her. They both turned and quickly took off trying their best to swiftly close the distance. It took them a while since they were deep within the plains, but they soon slowed to see the pale rainbow figure of Nova up ahead. The two males nodded to her before taking a seat and waiting for the others.

If she was being honest she hadn't been hanging out with her family much as it was and then when their mother started getting so angry... it gave her even more reason to stay as far from the family den as possible. She was wandering around Celestial's territory feeling completely lost. She considered just leaving entirely and had her paws on the border of the pack when she heard Nova calling for her and the rest of their siblings. She sighed and her magenta gaze fell down to her paws for a moment. Of course she would go... but what could come of it? All of her trust had been in her mother and now... Adore turned around and walked back into the plains till she finally came across Nova and Chasm. She glanced at the den that was just behind Nova and realized that her sister must have moved out of their main family's den as well. Adore hadn't officially claimed her own den just yet, but it would probably happen soon as long as she remained here unless they could find a solution. She settled down on her haunches with her tail neatly tucked around her like she always did while she looked to Nova to lead this impromptu meeting. |

His sisters howl hadn't gone unnoticed, but Azazel hadn't particularly cared about it. His mother had gone crazy or something, though he didn't know why nor did he ever ask. Whatever the case, he decided since his day wasn't any interesting than the day before or...ever, he figured he'd go and see what Nova wanted with them. He hadn't seen Argus or Ochitsu for a while...maybe they jumped shipped and decided to leave. Or maybe someone in the pack drove them off? He didn't know. He didn't care. He had always been indifferent, distant from his family, though his littermates tended to annoy him anyway. The only one he could really see himself getting along with might have been Adore, but the others? Pft.
Arriving at the scene, Azazel eyed his siblings and sat down, hard gaze on Nova as if she had disturbed him from some important business. "Waddaya want?"

By the time her siblings arrived Nova had hardened herself, freeing herself of tears. It was Aza she spoke to first. "Don't act so snooty, Azazel. You're in the same boat as the rest of us." The femme narrowed her eyes, daring him to try something before speaking.
"Mother is gone. Mentally and before we know it she'll probably leave us. We've done nothing wrong... But she hurt us. Hurt poor Chasm who has helped watch over us since we were little." Nova closed her eyes. "Look. I know not... All of us are exactly close. Not like a family should be. But right now we are all we got." She opened her eyes again.
"So whether we stay in Celestial.. or eventually leave... We need to watch over each other. We need to keep eyes and ears out for Argy and Ochi. Come in guys... We can't just fall apart. We've got to keep going. I'm sure... If mother was better... It's be what she'd want. She loved us... And I'm not sure what changed but I refuse to lose anyone else!" She stomped her right forepaw.
"So... I called you guys together to see what you want to do. We're still a family... We can help each other." Nova had been growing up fast, her gaze sliding to each face in turn.

His remaining siblings filed in, aside from those who have disappeared. Before things started he was already feeling rather uncomfortable. The only thing that made him relax was bones sitting against his left from leg and leaning into it letting the tall male know he was there for him. His ears pricked forward as Nova began to speak, he was taking initiative and he was impressed. He was glad she was attempting to keep them all together it made him feel like his hopes for family were not all lost. He didn't know how the other would react, but he was all for them sticking together and further building their relationship as siblings. When Nova finished his eyes glanced over to the other two, but the silence was beginning to get to him so he cleared his throat.
"Nova's right, just because Mom isn't with us doesn't mean we cannot still be siblings and stick together" he said. "I'm vary grateful for all this pack has done for us so far, but If you three want to go else where and see what's out there I am more then willing to fallow."
Maybe he would at least have Nova if the other two had no interest. He had tried to be a good older brother to them, but maybe that wasn't what they had wanted.

Adore shifted her gaze between Nova and Azazel with a mild annoyance. They were like opposite ends of the spectrum... or rainbow might be more fitting for them. Their neutral colored brother was irritatingly apathetic while the most flamboyantly colored sister was intensely passionate over their current situation. She couldn’t say she felt strongly either way... but that was probably because she tried not to. She wanted to feel as little as possible, but she still cared. Her eyes turned toward Chasam as he spoke and she was glad that they had their older brother there to be a voice of reason. What was a bunch of almost yearlings supposed to do out on their own? Of course if Chasam came with them it probably wouldn’t be too bad, but they had it pretty good here as far as she could tell. In an effort to give her opinion before Azazel could say something annoying again, Adore shrugged and jumped in right after Chasam. "I think we should stay here unless someone has a better idea. At least if we stay here we can train and not have to worry about being hungry.” That made sense enough to her. Was there really any other option if they were looking at it logically? She glanced back to Nova, deciding her sister could make the final decision since she seemed to be keen on keeping them together. Adore would go wherever Chasam and Nova went so it was really up to them. |
