He had no idea where his father or sisters were, but in his young, reckless mind it didn’t really seem to matter. He trotted into the middle of the battlefield with a confidence that could only come from being freshly two years old with only a spattering of life under his paws. No matter, he was here to fight and he was down right excited about it. Just a spar, but the more practice he got the better. Pyre lifted his head and howled for anyone that might be around that would want to take up his challenge. He let out a contented sigh as he lowered his head and looked around to watch for his would be opponent. Part of him almost wished one of his sisters would show up. Not that he wanted to fight them, but they could watch and give him pointers later. He’d love to have a different point of view. He could only imagine what mistakes he’d be able to catch if he could watch himself fight. He gave his flame colored fur a shake and rolled his shoulders back. Hopefully he wouldn’t have to wait too long. He was ready to get this show on the road. |
