Desert Flowers

The dark colored pup had not been used to this type of climate. In fact, he doesn't even know where he could be at the moment. His heterochromatic orbs scanned the area for any signs of life. The sand that he stepped on burned his ebony paw pads, causing them to burn and crack. He would yip slightly in pain when he would stand on the sand for too long. His ebony coat was seriously not able to keep himself cool from the sun, and the only thing distinct about him were his two eyes. His right eye being a light blue like a topaz, and his left, a lime green. His tiny tail swished slightly as he ran to try and find shade.
Within what seemed like an hour, he came upon an oasis and lied down in the shade, panting; trying to cool off his burning fur and paws. His salmon colored tongue stuck out of his mouth as he panted, starting to feel cool and refreshed, a smile creeping on his face. He was a traveler for right now, for he couldn't come up with a place that would accept him, and plus, he was also shy and afraid to speak with older wolves since some would turn on him and hurt him if he were to get to close to their territory.
He sighed a small pup sigh and placed his head on his paws, eyes closing slightly as they opened a little bit earlier than he had intended them and began to lap at the cool water to quench his throat.
