the grass is green and the girls are pretty [Dom]
It was snowing! Fat, heavy flakes fell from the sky. The night sky was dark, but for the first time ever, someone had secured a light source for them. Sathanus had brought back a strange bundle of glowing mushrooms. Apparently they grew underground somewhere. Whatever that meant. Their light had been steadily fading through the night, but it made the snowflakes stand out at the mouth of the cavern. Wonderment sparkled in the mismatched eyes of the pallid babe. Da had demanded that if Divo was going to sit so close to the mouth of the cave, one of mama's stinky pelts needed to be draped over her little shoulders.
So here Divo lay, covered by a thin deerskin, watching the snow fall. It was late, and everyone else was settling in for the night. Mama was going to tell them a bedtime story tonight. Da said he would stay and listen, if she wanted him to. Divo wanted him to stay. He was big and warm, good for cuddles.
This moment wasn't right. Not yet. Craning her neck awkwardly, the babe squinted to the depths of the den. "Dom!" Divo called softly, hoping the littlest sister was still awake. Dominika always loved to watch things happen, and the backlit snowflakes tumbling from the heavens would probably be right up her alley. "Dom!"

Just because I have backup doesn't mean I'll use it
She had been snuggling with Da after her long day of adventuring and getting one on one time with Ma. Darya and Divo had spent a lot of the day elsewhere or in the den but she had enjoyed the time alone. It was peaceful and nice to not have her sister chewing on her or another squishing her and using her as a pillow. Though right now she lay with Da between his front legs and under his neck with her head out. Though when Da used her as a pillow it was okay. He didn't typically force her to stay put, in fact all it took was a little wiggle and he always let her up, every time without fail.
