Where It's At
Almost immediately after being sent off by his father Rogdar had traveled south; far too bothered by the cold to stay on the wintery continent for much longer. Blazing sunshine cool breezes suited him much better, but what had brought him to the strange stones in the first place had been what suited him best. The slate and gold wolf traveled down the slope just past the ring of stones and grinned as the grass began to thin and then disappear into sand. The ocean stood before him in all it’s mighty glory and Rogdar raised his head to let the roaring wind whip through his fur, nearly knocking his companion off his head.
“Can you feel that Eura?” He asked earning a series of impatient slaps on his cheek from the monkey. He laughed in response and came further don the slope to let the breaking waves lap against his paws. “Hold on.” He warned playfully, although the monkey’s hands were already tightly curled into the fur of his neck. Rogdar reared back like a horse and then dashed down the shore at full speed, letting the salt air whip at his fur and the briny water spray onto his stomach.
