Make A Move

Night had fallen, the youth had traveled for quite a long time. He was tired, he was hungry, he was...exhausted. He didn't know where he had ended up, but by the smell of it, he had come across a pack. It seemed this was the only one in these lands. He had passed several in the other continent, and he had observed from afar, but the male hadn't been desperate enough to join. On top of that, joining a pack where Winter had them in it's grip didn't seem very enticing, but here...it seemed the opposite. In the distance he could hear the dull sound of thunder and the flash of lightning in the sky. Here in these plains he could spot the flickering of fireflies. He stopped at the borders, not daring to call anyone for fear of them being hostile. Especially if they were cranky should he happen to wake anyone up. Hesitation gripped him, so instead, he opted to lie down a few feet from the borders. Maybe he could sleep on it...make a better decision tomorrow. He wasn't really sure what he was planning on doing or what he even wanted to do, and tiredness certainly wasn't helping...sighing, he laid his head on his paws and watched the sky above...it certainly looked peaceful and calming...perfect for the mood he was in.
