Your Love Is Like A Waterfall

It had been a long time since he had spoken to his mother. He had been around her, yes. But only during the last couple meetings. He was afraid, so afraid that she rejected him and wanted nothing to do with him after he had left Abaven without a word. Would she understand why though? The last time he had come across her after having left, he had run. Too afraid of what she might say. Afraid even more if she had tried to force him back into Abaven. He had been an outcast there, Bass had left in favor of looking for his missing sisters and it had made him feel like that's all he had cared about. Bass had been their only father-figure, but Cloud found himself being foolish for even looking up to the old male.

Now though, he sought out his mother to apologize. He had finally mustered up the courage to do so...sort of. He was still afraid, but if they were to all live together again then he needed to find some closure. He didn't know where she might be, and he wasn't sure if she knew the lands well enough to navigate in order to find him if he called, so he remained quiet and searched for her instead.
