The time was nearing for Sam to claim their home. He still hadnt fully decided on where he would claim as their refuge but he knew he would know the place when he saw it.

His paws hit cold hardened dirt as he trotted through the area at a leisurely pace. His sister's place among them was solidified in his place as was Gabriel's. Whether either would come was still yet to be seen but he had high hopes they would join him. His young were out for the day exploring, except for Dom who was insistent on sitting at her mother's den and watching for her on a daily basis. They missed their mother but he was doing his best to step up and take over completely until she could return with some woman who knew nothing about them and was going to decide their destinies apparently. He wasn't about to let some woman tell them they couldn't do something though. They were all strong girls and he would give them everything in the world.

He stopped under a tree, brows furrowed in frustration and unintentional anger about the fact they couldn't choose for themselves of they wanted to be a shaman or not. Who was this shaman to decide if his little marvel was going to be some shaman and never let her choose if she was goin to fight, hunt or heal. He'll even if she took up politics he felt it was her choice. He's need to track her down and see how she felt about this.

He let out a sigh and glanced to the sky. "If your gods are true Lirika, then do they always define the future as unfair? Do they enjoy taking away the choices of a mere child? Making her childhood full of learning and no play? Is she destined to never know what it is to tussle with Darya, to roll in the flowers just for fun?"
