It had been a few good weeks now since she knew she was pregnant with Cael's pups. She could not have been more happier when she realized it either. Sure the morning sickness was a downer but when it passed she was back to her peppy happy self. She seemed to prance about when she moved, a spring to each step, sky blue eyes glowed. She glistened with the pregnancy glow some females got, but she seemed to radiate it. She had no fears for both her and Cael were healers and could easily figure out anything that might go wrong. Deep down though she wished for Erani's words of advice, or even just seeing her would make the dark female pleased.

She padded through the willows, letting the memories of first coming here flood back. This is where she first met Erani, the first Valhalla she encountered That fateful day was like ages ago but not once did she regret it, nor joining Valhalla. It was where she met her mate and blossomed into a seasoned healer and a confident wolf. She paused under a rather large willow and settled down, eyes gazing at the growing roundness of her belly fondly. Soon, soon she and Cael would be parents. She wondered where he was.

He felt like he was on cloud nine, over the moon at the thought of finally being a father. Soon enough he and Imena would be parents. Ever since she told him he had been a strange mix of excitement and worry. If they were still within the safety of Valhalla he knew his worry would not be nearly as pronounced. Of course there were always complications to worry about, but now he worried about the simple well being of his mate and their growing children. It was no secret that he wasn't the strongest fighter nor a fantastic hunter and because of this he wondered if he could take care of his family on his own.

That was the thought that plagued him as he padded back toward Imena with his hard earned rabbit hanging from his jaws, following her scent to find her resting beneath one of the many willow trees. He gently sat the meal at her paws with a loving smile before laying down beside her and tenderly licking her cheek. "How are you feeling, love?" he asked softly, keeping his worries to himself for now. He didn't want his thoughts to way down on her as well. He just hoped an opportunity to solve their problems would show itself soon.

Another day or searching, and so far the man had not encountered anyone. How far did he have to travel, how much energy did he have to use up just to find one single member of his family or the Valhallan pack? The man sighed heavily as he walked, head shaking left and right in frustration. What if he was too late and everyone moved away after the collapse? Then all his searching would just be a waste. No. He stopped, golden eyes staring off into the distance ahead of him. He couldn't give up, that would be unacceptable, Mystic would be incredibly disappointed.

He shook his head once more to dismiss the thoughts, at least the negative ones and began to focus on the positive ones. He WOULD find his family, he WOULD find the Valhallans, whether they were young or old. Moving with determination now his tail swung calmly behind him, head held high, golden eyes carefully tracing over the earth, ears were listening attentively, nose taking in all kinds of scents.

Finally he caught something in the air, the scent of wolves, male and female pair. Slowing his pace the man lowered his head, sniffing away at the grass around him, looking for where it was weakest. They were close, the scent was still pretty strong. Off he went, almost power walking as he followed the trail. They had to be here somewhere beneath the tree branches or else he would have spotted them by now. "Hello?" He would call out, trying to sound friendly. The scent had a faint Valhalla hint to it, could these wolves be one of them?
