Going in blind
The Oracle stood upon the shimmering land bridge, dark toes flexing in the soft turf. Nura took a deep breath, sightless eyes closing and she allowed images of blood and conquest to flow over her. There could be no doubt that in moving forwards she would once more be among the blood, among her family. Her visions always seemed to be strongest when about them, not surprising really as it seemed violence followed them wherever they went, or rather was caused by them. Still the woman would not approach them without Nowa by her side, they were a pair, their powers were strongest together and she knew that her brother would no doubt need the pair of them. Nura took the slightest of seconds to wonder if her other sister was here as well. It seemed inevitable and yet she knew Razi and would not be surprised to find that she had distanced herself. The woman, opened her eyes again, a pointless gesture at best as pale, clouded gaze swept blankly over the horizon; unseeing. |

Ashiel returned to Auster from his explorations, full of knowledge and wisdom and eager to fuel his future plans. Griff soared through the air above him. He would need to speak with his companion when they returned to the canyon. There was much to discuss about their future. His large form hit the sand of the Bifröst and already he was beginning to feel like he'd returned home. It was a good feeling to have roots put down.
Ashiel was working his way across the land bridge in the early morning light when he spied a woman. Her coat strongly resembled Razi's and he wondered if perhaps this woman was one of the sisters she'd spoken of? He approached the woman cautiously and called out. "Hello there? Miss, forgive my forwardness but would you happen to know a woman named Razi Abraxas?"
The sounds of approach from behind was enough to tell the woman she was no longer alone, though she hoped for the approach of her twin the scent that reached her was unfamiliar... which was to say it was familiar, the scent of her family but the individual tones of the wolf's smell told her it was a family member she had yet to meet... Curious... a new sibling, or a nephew perhaps? She pondered to herself. He called out to her and his voice told Nura he was young still though not a pup. The woman turned, standing so that she was facing him, her blank gaze sweeping over him in a uniform movement, no slight hitch as eyes swung over where he could be seen. "My sister." She spoke in even tones. One of her many in reality but if this wolf was indeed of the family as she expected then he must figure that, and she hoped him at least competent enough to understand she meant it as Razi being her full blooded sister. "And whom might you be?" There was only the slightest hint of curiosity in her voice though her face remained as impassive as always. |
