He had lost. Though that was to be expected. It was his first real fight since he had been blinded, and didn't quite expect to win, but he had tried regardless. Perhaps some thought him a complete idiot for even trying to fight and going through with the challenge. But it was both pride and the want to protect what they had built that had driven him to accept. More the desire to protect their home then actual pride, but alas his efforts had been in vain.

He returned to the castle in the meantime, seeking to rest for a bit and collect a few things, though he wasn't sure yet whether or not Ashiel would take this place over or move elsewhere. So for now, he would simply come to rest before going on his way. Climbing the stairs, he flopped heavily on the front steps, exhausted and battered. Kimahri and Shiva remained on the outskirts of the lands, ready to alert him when or if the Abraxas decided to come this way.
