Be It Thunder Or Rain

Dance with the Devil || When the babe started her journey the sun rose like a flower opening, gifting its petals unto the world. Amid the dancing raindrops was the blush of scarlet, the warmth of tangerine. Gazing toward the illuminated clouds, still beneath the ethereal glow, she felt at home in a way she never had before. The Desert surrounding her, the never ending sand that seemed to allow her trail to stain it only for just a mere moment before the breeze took it away, remaining a memory of what once was. By the time she reached the rich planatation the yellow ball of fire changed to hues of orange, and then almost tangerine. It merged with the sky, like juice-mix dissolving in a glass of water. The clouds were cotton-candy, as though they blushed at the warm touch of the sun. Heavy bones carried her across the sand hills and even though her soul was at peace her body was protesting against the journey even more than it was in the beginning. Heavy pawsteps became dragging limbs across the terrain and the only taste she could aquire was a dreaful taste on iron on her tongue.

Gold up in my, gold up in my teeth
I'mma bite your feelings out
I'mma bite your feelings out
Silhouettes of birds flew home across a sky that was now magenta; and the sun was half into the sun across the horizon. The mauve of the dusky sky intensified, and in just a while, the biggest star had set, giving way to a thousand others, however, as the sunsets over the sand dunes, the temperature alose begins to drop acorrdingly, the terrain no longer protected by the warmth of the star. The vultures flew across the night sky, the moon illuminating their beings, their shadows barely visible on the ground, as the scavangers seek their next meal, a lost soul in the desert was a blessing for such creature fore a being that is not accoustomed with the hardships of the desert will soon find their doom, forever gone into the abyssal sand that draged on and on. Moisture saturated his flesh the further he slunk into the rich and overgrown vegetation as he reached the Oasis he was more than familiar with now. It was a relieving reprieve from the gripping heat of the sands the Luciferian King had crawled out from. The canopies overhead provided ample shade, flickers of moonlight strobing on the ground around him in patches as the breeze took the trees in a rather ungraceful dance. Back and forth they gyrated, branches clicking against one another and leaves rustling subtly. If not for the deep stench of other lupine approaching he would have found it peaceful. While he cared little for many things he tended to still turn to caution in some situations. Carefully placed pawsteps brought him along the edge of the thick terrain, silver eyes cast about in suspicion as the realgar glow kept pulsating in the depths of his volutpous fur. "ssshow yourssself creature!" the hisses were demanding, the Luciferian King companion took the words out of his jowls as his muscle tensed.

Dance with the Devil || The babe had underestimated the cold tonight, not like her at all but supposedly she was no longer accoustomed with the harsh night in Egypt since she came upon the lands of Boreas, she will have to find shelter and soon. She is marching but the night air is wicking her heat away faster than her body can replace it. She could turn back of course, but then what? End her journey before it even started? She met her uncle, Horus, and her aunt, Amunet; if there were here it means that HE was here as well and if he was here than something huge was going to happen soon and why not take this party to him instead of the other way around? Other than the darkness and herself all that seemed to exist was the chilly wind that’s harsh bite could be felt through her fine tendrils of hair. The babe could feel the hairs on her limbs raised and the bite of the wind had left its mark in the form of small bumps that were tingling on her front limbs, but its bite was more than flesh deep. Her blood ran cold through her veins and her bones were starting to chill faster than she would be comfortale with. She could see a glow in the distance, a light upon the horizon line that with each pawstep approached, she wanted it, she craved it, maybe it was a fire in the distance, the realgar color was her new hope but as she drew near her auditory system were invaded with a merciless hiss, venemous, dry, "ssshow yourssself creature!" What kind of impudent creature? The voice was familair and yet she could not place it. "Who is this?"
