She was back to square one, literally. After the challenge the mix of emotions overtook her making her slink away before Ash could extend his invitation for Talis' former members to join his pack. She was alone once more questioning why she had ever left the comforts of the family clan and why she had joined Talis. Dragon had been nice to her, but other then him she found herself having no other relations or connections to the pack. Ashiel was also nice to her and she couldn't forget the day he had taught her and the dark furred women about his sacrifice. Though she was unsure if she wanted to join him at this time, or any pack for that matter. She just felt the need to 'get out of dodge' so to speak.
She hadn't even the proper time to find out that her sister was in town to stay. She was bummed and had no clue where to go from here. Should she backtrack and head home? Should she give another pack a try? It was difficult for her to decide what she wanted to do. It would have been a lot easier if she had some friends or even family around. Clay was around somewhere, but she didn't know where exactly he was. She suppose she could just start like she had when she first came here to discover, explore, and see what packs were out there.
She put all her thoughts to the back of her mind, leaving her temporary den to find something to do. She headed deep into the grove to start a search for a game trail to get something to eat.
So thing's hadn't exactly worked out at Maggie had hoped, though she certainly didn't let that keep her down. No, the Wreckage woman was a lot harder to shake than that; if she could survive an avalanche, she could certainly survive losing her new pack. Besides, she was just as content to wander as to stay put; there were many wonders she had yet to see. Like here for instance! The strange umbrella shaped trees were fascinating to the woman, and as she pried at a curling piece of bark from one of the trunks, she saw a strange thick red substance welling up behind the piece of bark. "Woah! It bleeds!" She exclaimed to herself. Tucking that knowledge away for later and with her wooden prize clamped between her jaws Maggie continued her contented stroll through the woods.
Finally a familiar scent reached the woman and she picked up her pace, tail beating the air frantically. Finally she rounded a tree and spotted her sister. "Nuah!" She called, a muffled form of her nickname for her sister as she charged! She was aiming to playfully tackle her sister, the bark still clamped tightly in her mouth.
