Frosty Skies

[OOC: Anyone welcome! Preferably a pack member...:P]
Whispers of grey danced from a parted chocolate maw, the skies above were sullen. Hidden were the twinkling stars, grey, ominous clouds diverted such beauty. Now it seemed frost would appear in the early hours of 'morn, dampening and crisping blades of grass. Creating a spongy, muddy ground to walk upon. Already, the chilling blades nipped at white-tipped paws, pale violet eyes widened to the spectacle of the plains that sprawled out before her. Even with the moon's soft glow, dancing ghost-like upon dark ground, Tauriel was always captivated by the stars. By the night. She was not afraid of the darkness and the monsters that lurked within.
Yet it had been a moon since arriving in this strange new land. Tauriel had not met many souls... Though it was not like she had been trying. Straying so far from her intended place in this world had hit the once proud Princess hard. She slept to recover the aches in her bones, she hunted little to keep her going. But she wasn't doing what she had set out to do-she was simply surviving.
But that wasn't enough.
With a huff, the oddly-toned female sat. Basking in the glory of the moon's tender touch. Will I ever find my home? Pale gaze cast to the heavens.
Asteroth was never her home.
So she would find a new one.
