He wandered away from the barn they called home, his mother seemingly more distant but it didn't bother him too much. She never played with them, only talked to them when she wanted them to do something, and pretty much just let them do whatever they want. Their uncle was around almost every day, except when he went out hunting for them and stuff. Today though, he thought he'd track his uncle's scent, and the further he got from the barn, the more he got curious at the world around him. He could certainly find his way back by following his scent trail, but he wasn't too worried nor eager to return so quickly. Up ahead, he could hear the sound of water and the pup hurried to find the source. He was thirsty, but more curious about what he would find up ahead. Soon, he came upon a huge river flowing through the lands. Tail wagging, he bounded towards a small overhang and peered in. Down below, tons of different fish sat at the bottom, and his heart jumped with joy! Maybe he could get a few of those today! Man, wouldn't his siblings be jealous if he came back with a bunch of fish!?
