Out for a Swim

His main work on his new home was nearly done by now and his own den dug and lined with warm pelts. He would survive this winter even if his attempt at creating a pack would fail, at lease he would have plenty of extra to provide to other loners of they needed it. He still had plenty of time to explore and get miles in before he would focus on staying south when winter came, so he was doing his best to take advantage of it. Today he had headed more towards the east from home and his paws led him to a lake.
It was a vary beautiful place with clear water and plenty of fish. He had a thought to try his luck at fishing, but something more desirable struck into his mind. He hadn't went swimming in a while and after all the digging he had been doing, it would be great to fully submerge himself and fully clean the dirt from his fur. The streams that ran through the weeping willow wasn't deep enough for him to do that, so his mind was set. He at first moved into the water slowly, moving away from the shore until it was deep enough that the ground fell away from him. He then slung his head down into the water and back up, fully soaking the rest of his form.
He did this a few times before he began to just simply swim through the water and give his muscles more of an easy work out.
