It was lovely to be home, and the eastern lands were just as warm as she recalled. She's been lounging in the warm sands of the island beaches for the better part of the day, simply soaking up the sun. Pallid hues kept her from overheating, her bones drenched in delicious warmth from the sun high overhead. She sighed, rolling onto her other side and stretching languidly. Her mother had gone off somewhere with her sister and her sister's boyfriend type thing, but she'd be back soon. Of course she'd want to get out, after losing Descant. The petite giantess had not been given the immense pleasure of meeting her younger sibling before that had happened, and she'd decided to take a wander off somewhere else and let things cool down, she'd return eventually. Not like her family expected any less of her anyways, by the look of things. Dual toned optics would blink lazily as she lounged in the pale sand, ignoring everything and simply living life minute by minute.
A sudden sharp sting to her rump had the lass on her feet rather quickly, and she yelped as she whirled to face her attacker. A crab, a rather large one, snapping it's little claws angrily at her. One might say it was crabby (badumtish). Eyes would narrow, and the femme would stomp on it with an ivory forepaw, bashing it clean into the sand for pinching her bum. There was a loud crack, and she lifted her paw to find the shell cracked on the top of the crab's head. A smirk curved her dark lips, and the girl snickered quietly. Serves you right. She muttered, plucking the dying thing out of the sand with her teeth. Tugging away the shell, the giantess started to enjoy her coincidental meal. Looks like karma was on her side. Ebony marked rump would descend to rest upon the sand, and she quietly went about enjoying the salty meal.
When there was nothing left but bare bones and crunchy armor, the lady picked herself up and scooped the remains up in her mouth, depositing them in the ocean to let smaller creatures pick away what they pleased. It was only fair, the ocean had given her the meal, so it deserved some of the leftovers. Deciding not to risk another assault, she wandered closer to the tropical forests. It was nice, the exotic calls of colourful birds and strange wildlife filling her ears. The musky scent of the damp earth and moss laden trees was a heady, intoxicating aroma in her nose. She stared for a moment, gold and crimson eyes flicking over the broad, smooth leaves on the trees and the massive ferns on the ground. Without entering, the lass had found the forest to be quite nice, but nothing compared to the open beaches. Returning to the sands, she lowered herself onto her belly and rested her cranium upon her mismatched paws. Optics would flutter shut, and she let out a sigh as she relaxed with a full belly.
