Everything was going just fine- just great- and Esti was a princess and she had followers and guards and a whole little kingdom, and it really was fun, except she was starting to care. She didn't want to care about where Titania was or who that other scent on her was, or if Dusk had enough friends because Esti didn't want him thinking she would betray him. She honestly didn't even feel guilty about being a mock princess anymore. It was simply becoming reality.
Except it wasn't.
She sometimes felt guilty, only rarely, but it would still come, all at once and it would feel like she was literally the worst in the whole world. Esti knew, above anything, that she wasn't the worst in the world. That's why she had to get away. She had to blow off some steam. It might even help her learn something, she thought, though that felt like an excuse. She was angry. Esti needed something to occupy her, "but don't bring trouble back to the kingdom" her own voice echoed in her head. Fine, no trouble, what could blow off steam, but not cause trouble? A spar.
Esti made sure she was off away from the willows, away from her followers. This area, particularly riddled with crap seemed like a good place for no one to try to follow her. She walked around the place until she found somewhere less... sharp to have a spar. If she wasn't causing trouble, there was no need to get all scarred up. Once she found a decent place, she let out a long howl, calling anyone in good distance wanting to spar. Everything was going perfect; Esti was doing fine, and that's exactly why she needed some excitement.
