The brown pelted male left Ludicael lands in search of something to do. Rather, a purpose of sorts...he had been sitting alone for far too long, and his mind and heart and soul were growing far too lonely. Perhaps it was the resentment he always held in his heart, the hatred he carried for those who he felt abandoned him. Song...his mother. Although it was in the past, the lingering thoughts and feelings always ate at him. And he thought at one point, perhaps he would have forgiven his sister...but then she had left again recently, and he was sure the cycle would start all over again. He had come along with his siblings to find her specifically. Then Symphony decided to leave for happiness, and Howl had been okay with that. But Song? She had left for no reasons other then to run away, and this second time? He wasn't sure if he cared anymore.

Hazel eyes fell upon the water, the male stopping just feet from it. The wind rippled the surface as it did to his fur, he took a deep breath to calm his rattling mind. He would sit there in silence, and after several moments he would begin to slowly hum to himself. The only thing that would keep him sane, the only thing that ever kept him calm when his family wasn't around. He hummed himself into a calm state, often to sleep. This particular song something he had come up with on his own, and it was something he always thought special. As he hummed it, his head would slowly lift and the humming would soon be released into a melodic howl. Tail sat behind his body, body straight, his head rising to the sky as he sang his sad song.

With her nose covered in sand and her furless paws sinking into the bay, large radar dish ears lifted, and listened to the melodious howl. She stepped away from the found, rotting corpse of some sea beast that she had never before seen and listened to the hymn. Compelled and oddly intrigued she followed the sound down the bay until she came across the champagne colored wolf. Slowly, she stepped closer, ears raised, and head tipped in curiosity. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice gruffer than she would like it to be.

His lone melodic call would continue, the male so enveloped in his song that he had not realized nor detected the approach of the female behind him. It was only the sound of her voice at last, that would suddenly cease his song. Abruptly, jaws would snap shut as he appeared startled, head turning around to see the form of a she-wolf. Though she wasn't the prettiest around, that never mattered. Not to him, anyway. A single question, the one that interrupted his melody would fall from the girls lips. He cleared his throat, swallowing back some embarrassment as he answered. "Ah, my name is Howl." He coughed once, quick and sharp. Body turning to follow the direction of his gaze as he faced her. "And yours?"

Almost instantly she felt a twinge of fear all but encase her as he looked at her. Slowly she began to shy away from the...well...handsome male. She could feel it growing inside her already, her broken sense of self worth, telling her that his nervousness came from her ghastly appearance, despite whatever the truth was. "I...I am Micha." She mumbled, feeling as though her name didn't deserve to caress those ears. Again and again her thoughts berated herself. Reminding her of every nuance of her bodice that gave her the ultimate appearance of being ugly. Even without her fleas, even without her mange, she still must have been a sight to behold. Her ears, much too long for her body, her tail, lean and small, her whole frame, tiny to such a large wolf as him. She was without a doubt in her mind, unworthy, and her wavering bravery showed by her slowly backing away from him, attempting to creep back into the shadows where she belonged, far away from the beautiful creature before her.

Her demeanor when he asked who she was confused him. Frightened him almost, that perhaps he might have scared her somehow or even accidentally offended her. He wasn't a scary person, he wasn't someone to be feared. "I...I am Micha." She would tell him her name, though the way she said it made his head tilt. Was she..afraid? He watched in confusion as she seemed to back up towards the trees, Howl's hazel eyes watched in concern, paws subconsciously moving forward. "Wait! Don't go!" The words spilled from his mouth before he realized it. And almost immediately he would shut his maw. He seemed to feel embarrassed for a second, unsure as to why he as asking her not to go.

Deep inside perhaps, it was because he craved company. He craved to talk to another, someone who wouldn't judge him...Someone who held nothing against him for past things. Taking a deep breath, he looked at her calm and collected. Although she was alot different then him, and alot different then anyone he had ever seen before, he didn't care. He wasn't the best looking person in the world, nor the most beautiful. In fact, he always felt ugly...and it was because he held so much hatred in his heart for his past. But this girl was different, and it was evident that she was afraid. "Please, stay." He would plead to her once more.

He took more notice in her retreat than she could have hoped for, and became even more frightened as he stepped forward. "Wait! Don't go!" She froze instantly, her eyes wide as she watched the foreign wolf, her ears raised in surprise. "Please, stay." Instantly her fears crumbled into....What the hell was it? She had never felt anything like this before. It was like happiness but more tame and mild. She supposed "Happiness" was the best way to put it. She was happy that someone wanted her company, wanted her presence, wanted her to be there! She cleared her throat and spoke, her voice mousey yet with an undertone of sternness "Then I will stay." She said, lifting her head, almost in an act of pride. For once in her life she felt desired, truly desired. Not as a mate, but as a friend. and the feeling warmed her shy soul.
